While some of you are still desperately trying to get the key and download links out of the hands of Focus, the game now officially has the status of "launched".

And that's celebrated with a new video, showing off the gameplay graphics in every possible way: mountains, sprints, time trials - and of course we also get a glimpse of the Champs-Elysees.

It's hardly something that will calm those who are still yet to get the game which was supposed to have landed in your inbox about 12 hours ago, but at least you can spend a little minute watching this...

As expected, the first patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2013 has been made available just as the game has hit the stores.

The patch contains about 50 corrections, bug fixes and even new features, for example the possibility of recording a certain part of a race with the shortcut CTRL + R. You can see the full list of fixes here where you can also download the patch.

In the downloads section, you will also find the first real name database which is fully compatible with the new patch. This gives you correct names of teams and riders - and to some extent, also races. The package also comes with the real jersey for BMC. Get it here.

In this new trailer, showcasing the console game Tour de France 2013, you get a fairly basic introduction to the game and its possibilities. There's plenty of video of the gameplay, so you get a good idea of how it will work once released.

It's almost a tradition at this point, and it's not bound to change this year: The first patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2013 is already in the making and is set to be released on the release day of the game, the 20th of June.

That was revealed in an interview that the Benelux site PCMFocus did with the lead programmer of PCM, Xavier Wiart.

Other than this little piece of information, not much (if any) new was revealed. However, it's worth noting that PCM08-PCM12 shirts are compatible with PCM13 (when converted from tga to png). However, due to the shirts being double in size in the new game, shirts for older games will appear pixelated.

Among other noteworthy details is the fact that the financial system has been revised, making it more simple. Most interesting change is that your budget can change every year, even if your sponsor stays the same.

This Sunday (the 16th), PCM.daily are planning to hold an evening of online gaming as we say goodbye to PCM12 ahead of the upcoming release of PCM13. This will likely be a mixture of Track and Road racing, depending on the preferences of those who turn up.

As well as a farewell to the previous PCM, this will also hopefully act as a kickstart to more online racing amongst the community into PCM13. Indeed, there are plans to host an inaugural PCM.daily Online Championships later in the year!
