It's been a while since we last had a competition here at PCM.daily, so let's dust that idea off and launch one - after all, it's the day of the 100th edition of the Tour de France.

And speaking of ideas, we're re-using an old theme for a competition.

As you know, we continue to improve the site from year to year. Sometimes it's small changes like the Pro Cycling Stats widget for the forum, other times it's much larger projects like the Fantasy Betting section.

Now, we're interested in your input on ideas that can improve this site even further - whether it's small or large projects doesn't matter, as long as it's something that'd make this site a better place to be.

You can submit your ideas to me by Private Message. The crew will then vote on the idea they like the best - the originator will win a copy of Pro Cycling Manager 2013 (although we might be able to get a different game, if the winner prefers this).

Last day of entry is on Sunday the 7th of July at 23:59 CET.

The 2nd patch is available to download. It fixes several bugs in career mode, armada and improves the gameplay.

As announced yesterday, we can now release our first database for Pro Cycling Manager 2013, the Real Name DB.

It's much more than just real names, though. In fact, it's more complete than our first Expansion Pack for PCM12. In this release you will find exactly 100 teams - among them, the new Belkin Pro Cycling Team, updated stats, lots of equipment and other graphics.

Pro Cycling Manager 2013 has been released, your summer vacation is likely to begin soon if it hasn't already, and the Tour de France is just around the corner - so what's missing?

A PCM.daily DB to enhance your PCM13 experience, of course.

Luckily, we can now announce that PCM.daily will release its first database for the new game before the Tour de France - to be more precise: tomorrow.

In this release, which will be named PCM.daily Real Name DB, you will find most of the features from the 2013 DB that we released for PCM12 - 100 teams (including the recent name change to Belkin Pro Cycling Team), updated stats, lots of equipment, lots of new graphics and plenty of other minor features.

This release is still a stepping stone toward our usual Expansion Pack which will feature many new races, variants and all new future sponsors, optimised for PCM13 - but that's still a few weeks ahead.

So check back tomorrow and get the PCM.daily Real Name DB!

You might have seen it on the Cyanide forum already but now it`s also here so that more people will get those "bugs" patched.

It`s not really a patch, but fixes two bugs:

- You can contract new riders at the start of July when you have a sponsor for the next season (even the same)

- You can scroll down the whole list of stage races hosted in Armada
