Sprint trains

At the start of each flat stage I'll put all my guys on dot at 80 effort. Once they get to the front I'll have them hold position at 99 effort (unless there are some hills). I'll have my sprinter and lead out man hold position a few riders back so they aren't in the wind. I'll select my two guys with the lowest flat attributes and put them on rely to keep the break from getting to far. I will also use these two to get water. Once they are done I will move them to the back of the Pelaton to get out of the way. With 17.8 km to go I will set up my train. I will put the guy with the lowest flat on dot with 82 effort. I will conter-sprint him with my next lowest flat guy, etc... until I get to my final three. First lead-out man, Primary lead-out man, and Sprinter.
For example: On my custom team I would have Dean (Fl: 75 Sp: 74) -> Davis (Fl: 76 Sp: 76) -> Goss (Fl: 76 Sp: 80).
Back to 17 K to go: My first guy will go 82 on dot (raise his effort level as needed to keep him at the front) once his energy is gone I will put my next guy at the same thing (higher effort if his Fl attribute is low or you are close to the finish). Keep doing this until 4 km to go. When there, I will put my first lead-out man at 99 effort. With 3 K to go I will start sprinting with with him. At around 2.8 K I will have my primary lead-out man start sprinting. With If your sprinter gets passed by another top sprinter, you may choose to counter sprint him instead. In any case, with about 1 K to go start sprinting with your sprinter on aggresive.
Hello Mr_Monk. I have fully understood the explanation and I must say that everything is very clear . My problem is that in "extreme" and carrying Farrar (in better shape than its competitors) in the TDU am not able to make a top5 at any stage
As I am not an expert do not ride my train. With just about 12 kms to target, to get Farrar behind the wheel of Greipel or Cav. I wait until the last km or up to 1.2km missing. Hey man, no problem. I honestly have never played on extreme, so that might be the thing that you're having problems with. I would recomend playing on Hard, and seeing if that makes any difference.
If that's the case, then you'll have to look elsewhere to get advice for playing on extreme. Sorry I can't help more :/
tmobile that might be a bug your experiencing if your full bars and sprinting with no noticeable acceleration.
@mr monk: i would suggest not paying too much attention to the specific numbers your using and pay closer attention to where your rivals are and how their trains are pulling.
