isn´t all of it a bit low?

medium riders are now able to win more, because of the low stats of the great srpinters (and others like the climbers)...
#2 | Dankan on 14. March 2008 22:13
That's why we lowered the values for the best riders: in order to allow medium riders to win more. I've just played a stage at the Tirreno - Adriatico: Bertagnolli (76 HIL) won in front of Riccò (78 HIL) and Schleck (80 HIL). If we'd kept the original setting, then you'd see Bertagnolli (77 HIL) winning in front of Riccò (80 HIL) and Schleck (82 HIL). Bit more unreal, isn't it?

I think that Mcewen should have at least 79...But that's only my opinion...You're the expert...Wink

Just 1 question; why is Cavendish better up the mountains than McEwen? because Robbie is older now?
#5 | Dankan on 15. March 2008 12:52
Just because of his unability to do the first mountain stage on time in the last 3 GT's he started. That's why he gets a low REC-stat, too.
#6 | Addy291 on 15. March 2008 12:53
ok thanksSmile
#7 | issoisso on 15. March 2008 14:07
I like how Davis' stamina is higher, instead of raising his climbing stats, making him still survive the climbs, but without causing him to attack on the hills.
#8 | Dankan on 15. March 2008 14:19
That's right. We gave him that STA-value to ensure he's capable reproducing the results he managed to get (making a top-10 spot in the MSR, f. ex.)

great db
except that i would put McEwen sprinting stats 79 as i feel he is as good as boonen en hushovd in the sprint, but that's my opinionGrin

Okay, good point. But if you play more seasons, there probably will be talented riders with higher stats.
#11 | Dankan on 16. March 2008 15:36
But the top guns will still improve a little to get closer to them. That's not the point we're afraid of.
#12 | bnaantje on 17. March 2008 11:42
Okay, well done! And thanks for your explenation!
#13 | Lamanufan on 17. March 2008 22:18
Steegmans should have higher Hillstats, just see what he did in Paris-Nice. And Hushovd should have 78-79 in Downhill....
#14 | Roman on 18. March 2008 00:25
Lamanufan: I agree with you.
Btw where is Fippo Pozzato?
#15 | samtheman on 21. March 2008 12:10
Finally a DB with Freire as best sprinterGrin
#16 | Billy Boy on 21. March 2008 15:56
Robbie McEwen?Shock Way too low. He should at least have 80.
#17 | MarcoPRT on 22. March 2008 00:12
Crazy aussies...:lol:Pfft
#18 | CrueTrue on 24. March 2008 21:14
Willi: No way. McEwen has archived nothing this year at all - and he won't.
#19 | gleki on 25. March 2008 09:27
steegmans should have higher hillstats!did you see what he did in P-N??he owns
#20 | Ennyzor on 25. March 2008 12:34
He perhaps owned on 1 or maybe 2 of the hilly stages, however the rest of them he barely managed to follow the back of the peloton. I agree Hushovd should be a bit higher.
#21 | AMD5 on 26. March 2008 21:29
Boonen's acceleration is too low and Bennati's is too high
#22 | Addy291 on 01. April 2008 13:43
Boonen's acceleration is fine, have you seen the way Boonen sprints? He doesn't have good acceleration so he goes from a long way out, people with good acceleration go from shorter distances.
#23 | Stijn_vranken on 14. April 2008 16:27
boonen should have sprinting 81 or so
#24 | KurtinSC on 29. April 2008 17:44
No, you can't have a sprint stat over 80 if you start to celebrate before the line and Cavendish passes you.

Cavendish's climbing stats need to go down though. If you can't climb a podium without falling then how are you going to get over a mountain?

#25 | ursul on 15. June 2009 20:31
whit out his bike, he is nothing.
#26 | NORSPEED on 01. July 2010 00:07
I have never liked Hushovds stats, they are way to low
#27 | NORSPEED on 15. August 2010 20:26
top five sprinters should have one sprint more
#28 | lluuiiggii on 22. January 2011 01:15
Dude, remember this is a 2007 DB =)
