The route which you see, is from a gpx file. But you can use a image overlay, too, or a tga file

Hi, Im having a hard time getting my KML file to produce a real copy of my ride( tried the GPX file, but crashed the editor)
when I load, it gives me a standard starting landscape and my ride and elevations are not showing. What did you enter to correctly get your ride to show? And for your Lats and longs? or what am I missing? Where, or what are you using to record your gps data?
