Story Spotlight: FDJ.fr
Story News

The seventh Story Spotlight is all about one of the more beloved teams in the peloton: FDJ.fr by baia. The gutsy French team is put to the test in this traditional team story that offers easy to read reports with flashy graphics that keep readers entertained and amused.

It must be said that baia certainly learned from past experience on how to perfect the art of story making. Some of the older generation of members will surely remember his classic PCM11 story Movistar Extreme and journey that took us on. FDJ.fr looks to heading on that same path.

What makes this story stand out from every other story on PCM.Daily is it’s screenshots. They are so realistic that it feels like every update is real and not from a video game. Having graphics this good should be a crime because I’m extremely jealous. Get a small taste of these outstanding pictures by checkout the full Story Spotlight by clicking Read More.

Patch 1.3.0.0

Cyanide Studios released a third patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2014, fixing some of the final major bugs. Update your game and experience a better gameplay!

PCM.daily DB Team additions by admirschleck

Following the recent call of support, we can now announce 5 additions to our PCMdaily DB team. Their names are: Zecha, bwiggins, Sykkel_Freak, Kentaurus and haasje33. They already joined the rest of our DB crew and will immediately start working on future projects.

When already talking about future projects, we have some great news for you! Team will now get to work on PCMdaily 2014 Expansion Pack for PCM14, which means most of our problems are gone and your favourite PCM database is back!

Oh and before you even think about asking, we won't be indicating any estimated release date for this project. You just have to know that we're working hard on it, so less time you spend on asking those type of questions, less time we'll spend on answering them and you'll get the DB quicker!

Downloads for Pro Cycling Manager 2014

Additional downloads are popping up left and right. Whether it is a stage pack, a flag pack or a historic 2001 database, all downloads are worth checking out.

Tour de France madness

With the Tour climaxing in a display of strength by Sicilian Vincenzo Nibali, the entire community is following the Tour's every step. Except for the Difficult Topic's thread and occasionally Café Pedro, the rest of PCM.Daily is dead quiet, while the Tour de France threads are exploding with (sometimes heated) discussions and outbursts of happiness or anger. Join in on the Tour madness for today's stage!

Thread of the Week

It has to be a Tour de France stage thread, and it is! Stage 10, with the finish on La Planche des Belles Filles, was the most talked about stage of the week. With Alberto Contador pulling out after a horrible crash and Nibali jumping away to yellow, it's understandable that the thread got to 40 pages in only 3 days.

Cycling Interview: Andreas Stauff
Interviews

Todays interview is with Andreas Stauff, who is currently riding for MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung.

It is maybe the last for a while as this is the last interview I have. We are working to get some more people but as the Tour de France is on, PR guys, riders etc. are more concentrating on this years cycling highlight.

Click read more to have a look what Andreas Stauff says.

Story Spotlight: Team Novo Nordisk - Achieving the Dream
Story News

The October 2013 Story of the Month winner gets back into the limelight this week because it’s steadily approaching the 150 pages milestone. Team Novo Nordisk - Achieving the Dream (formerly Team Type 1) by sutty68 is on the verge of joining a legendary list stories to reach that level: Double Feature, Petronas-Monster Energy, and Nordic Cycling.

While making history is always nice, the Story Spotlight is used to help members catch up on stories they don’t have the time to read or have completely missed. I’ll admit, it’s been extremely hard to highlight everything in a story this big in just a week’s time. But, hopefully we will give you enough information to make you want to catch-up on the story for yourself.

Contrary to the title, Novo Nordisk is actually intended to be one-rider story. Gary Sutton, the Welsh John Gadret, is the “main character” but often gets looked over at times with the team’s large racing schedule. He is very easy to lose track of with all the detailed team race reports which involve the cleaver kilometer timeline system. To find out more, checkout the complete synopsis by clicking Read More.
