Looks interesting but also potentially incredibly expensive...
Kickr trainer = £950
Computrainer = Over £1000 (specific price not found)
Using a standard non-ecu controlled trainer i don't think would make full use of the programme so wouldn't be entirely worth it when you consider the alternatives.
Also the Computer requirements are on the high side to my mind. Looking around the £500 mark for something to match the recommended settings.
ANT+ power meter: ~£1000
The ANT+ stick itself is only about £30, so pretty reasonable.
So add that all up and it's ~£2530! F*ck me! Obviously if you already have those pieces it's not expensive but that is somewhat limiting your market to the high-end range, and something like this needs a certain critical mass to match up races properly.

I'm pretty sure that Tacx does it much cheaper and better. https://www.tacx.c...ayer#tab_1

On strava some guys are using it in the beta version. When you upload your data it's on some small island. I've watched a video before and it looks like fun, but honestly, I prefer to run or take an off-day on rainy days and just as a winter gimmick it's probs to expensive. If I ride on Home Trainer, I prefer to watch a tv show anyway.
It's a smart idea though, and it surely has a potential with all that MMORPG approach.
I imagine the Sufferfest is more fun than Zwift btw.
