miggi133's LukOil - Rostelekom have now been promoted to the ProContinental division.
This follows the disbandment of Koppert Cycling Team as their manager has neglected to do any of the pre-season tasks such as a Team HQ thread, Goals, or HC Selections - meaning that Renewals werent even close to being ready for them, while only 1 other team has yet to complete their renewals.
miggi has been aware of this possibility for a couple of days - so this move won't be slowing the game down, rather speeding it up!

Congratulation, I can see Oleg swearing that the Russian team got more money :-p
At the start of last year I would never have predicted that Boogie would dissapear after only one year...

Good for Miggi, not so good for other eastern european teams and Oleg especially.
Good luck in PCT!

That's quite surprising news, indeed. Koppert had an interesting, not too bad team.. I guess a couple of cobbled-focussed managers will update their shortlists now
Congrats to miggi anyway!

Too bad that Boogie isn't a part of the game anymore but on the other side congratulations to Miggi who defiantly deserves this!

I don't see the problem at all! Now that LukOil, just like Tinkoff, needs a minimum of 20 riders, the chances that we both can go 100% russia are smaller, so bad luck for the other managers! "We" just need to play it smart

A warm welcome to Miggi! Please grab all the russians, ukrainians, hungarians and moldovians you want, but stay away from Asia |

Congrats miggi, I hope Samai Samai will be in the PCT?
Taillefer available now, eh? I can't complain - maybe I will sign a cobbler... |

Rumour has it that Taillefeur's fondest memories were in the green and white of LaFarge and that the manager of that now defunct team is looking to re-unite him with some of his former teammates.

Are we getting another CT manager to make it a 25 team division again?
Though I'm fine with it being 24 (less competition is sometimes a good thing!)

Too close to transfers now - anyone new would have too much to do.

Thanks SN for the opportunity!
And good to see that so many people are suportive of this decision! I will try my best to not let you guys down! Just sent in my Goals and the HC Selections, so Lets bring on the transfer season...
Though, I now have loads of work to do, planing my season again (I really didnt intended to apply for HC Race at the start...)
Huuuh, more work.

Congrats miggi.
Hope you have a good time in the PCT. It's a shame another manager had to leave, but it's great that this brings a chance for another one to step forward in the game's hierarchy.
