It was indeed very nice - I hope your team will be able to get even more points in the upcoming races. Sella in the Giro right?

In the end, I got very close to a stage win three times, had two riders in the overall top 10 and won the teams' classification. So, I can't say this has been a bad race.
Nice work with the reports, roturn

Decent result in the end for my team, big thanks to roturn for amazing pace of high quality reports.
Hopefully Rujano will be able to ride decent Giro now.

Another dissapointing race for us, then again Keinath may have reached his full potential in this race, it's not like he is a great stage racer.
Finally Pluchkin is about to start his season. Let's go Giro!

Thanks roturn, really nice race.
VDB with a great day to raise himself into a creditable 12th overall. I'm not going to complain about that.

That was a disappointing end to a very nice race.
On the other hand I'm very happy with the team classification and Stake Laengen's performance, which bodes well for the future
Thanks again for the reports, roturn! |

Well, even though this wasn't nowhere near to what I had hoped, it still was a very well documented race, so thanks for that roturn
Onto Italy now.

It was a brilliant report indeed... I feel extremely sorry for you after this race. Machado should have been top 5 here, possibly even podium, so coming away with absolutely nothing isn't exactly what your team needs at this point. I believe I calculated it to only ~75 points you got from this race, whilst teams who didn't do much got the same or more. I believe I managed to get something close to 620 points. I think that is the highest ever score I have gotten from a short GC race. In fact it is more than I managed to score in 2/3 GT's last season

Interesting to see the Mountain TTT play out, had a feeling Festina would do well there.
Amazing Stage 5 for Suaza, a slight shame he couldn't hold on to 10th overall on the final stage but 16th is brilliant considering the mess he made early on in the race. I had this race down as a write-off, and it turns out to not quite be so.

Was hoping for some sort of breakaway success, but fair enough that the GC bots got to play. Spilak is going to be pretty hard to stop all year, even at the tour. Other gc riders let their teams down, mestre had a nice run for his own chances before a lot of donkey work for Anarchon.
Dan Martin went very well again for me also.

11th just one seconf behind top10 isn“t eventually such bad result. Congrats to SotD, Spilak was just amazing. And thanks to roturn for great and fast reporting!

Ouch. Excellent start, then a beating in the TTT followed up by Dekker losing heaps of time in the first real mountain stage. That hurts. Not really a satisfying race for Vueling. |
