In the grand scheme of things, we can't be too unhappy with 7th in the GC, although that stage 4 was very dissapointing, and made this race a lot worse than it could/should have been.
A bit sad that out of my 3 78TT riders, Christapopoulos was the one performing the best by far. Ioannidis wouldn't have moved either up or down if he had swapped places with Christapopoulos in the good end or Kiriakidis in the bad end. Kiriakidis on the other hand, would have increased a whooping 7 places if he would have performed similar to those other 78TT guys. Both Cavagna and Agrotis were slightly underwhelming in the area where a lot could have been won by having a "normal"/"good" day.
Despite the obvious chances of improvement 7th, 18th and another 3 guys in the top 50 makes us score aproximately what we expected prior to the race.

Paillot frauding his way into a GC top ten, love to see it. Bjerg doesn't seem to be that great this year though
Thanks for the reports Imladrik

Only one top TT rider struggling and thats Zmorka. Haig not losing 4 minutes on a flat stage would've had him at least at 7th. Feels like relegating from PCT with Monument winner Kelderman, Marquez and Saber again.
Thanks for the reports imladrik!

The boys clutched it out, too bad everyone but Kmieliauskas lost tons of time on different stages, but in the end still a good scoring race, thats satisfactory

Congrats to everyone who won something here (or did well without winning)! But my personal highlight is seeing Delbove winning the KoM jersey on this level! We've developed him all the way and it's great to see he can actually perform for DeNa as they hoped for!

Well we got some good stage results, but GC wise we were shit. But I guess we did ok for a PTHC race and it was nice to see that De Bie can still race in hilly stages.
Thanks for the reports!

Final stage somewhat as expected, congrats to Vesuvio on the GC win.
Very tight in the GC between 2nd and 5th so I'm really pleased with 3rd from Conci after a respectable TT result. That's our Top 5 goal achieved
Castrillo anonymously 11th in the GC is quite the surprise! He's a solid TT rider but I expected he'd lose more time in the hills. A really good result for him.
Storer with a good race but the TT was a step too far. Still 22nd in the GC is a decent haul alongside Cosnefroy in 26th.
Winning the Teams classification is a great result and representative of the strong 5 days we've had.
Thank you for the reports!!

Probably about the worst we could have hoped for. Terrible TT from Dunbar, finishing 10s in front of guys with 77 TT is awful. Pretty well a wash for the 5 days now, he’s not taking many points away from here with no stage results either. A real shame. At least Firdaus showed what he can do, but a shame he needlessly lost time on the flat stage otherwise he could have also made it onto the top-10.
Thanks for the reports Imladrik!

4th was to be expected for Mano in the end. Only I thought Dunbar would be ahead instead of Conci. Gidich in 20th at least adds some depth points |

Not what we hoped for but still 1 decent stage result from Wilco and potentially limited points in GC and young rider rankings.
Thanks for all the reports! And congrats to the winner!

Nice to see Van Aert in the winning breakaway on stage 4. His 2nd place there was a highlight in what was otherwise an expected difficult race for us.
Congrats to SN and thanks for the reports!

Uff that TT by Phinney was somewhat horrible. How did a climby TT expert lose that much here? GC wise he still is up there, so fine for me luckily. Still shocking.
Vansevenant in 12th is good, him being even 1st after the 4th is awesome. Though the plan to go for a stage heavily failed, losing to weaker riders or the break, which was not ideal scoring wise.
Though with both leaders here, the outcome could have gone even worse I guess. |

No GC result here, but kind of expected. Of course always hoping for AI to be just that bit smarter or more logical in some stages, but that's the story of every relegation team
Galvan Ramirez with a good move on S4. Maybe if he didn't focus on the KoM he would have had the energy needed for a stage win.
Thanks for the fantastic reports, Imladrik!

Razumov losing 2 minutes during the first stage was pretty bad, still he managed to finish 10th in the GC after 5 stages, so a decent result in the end. Not winning the team time trial was expected; this Wirtgen guy is starting to get on my nerves not Bewley levels yet, but getting there
Thanks for reporting this race Imladrik.
