Great ride by both Sulimov and Senechal, another podium place in the pocket. Thank you Marcovdw for reporting this amazing race.

Thank you for another great report, Marco! Consistency is key for Walsleben, and a nice GC looks very possible now Also good to see Hampus join that monster breakaway, fingers crossed we can continue put riders up front, as we won’t have any stage favourite for the upcoming days.
Also some great racing, must say it’s kind of nice to see that even Bewley can empty himself. |

4th in GC with Boom is excellent.
BUT having him losing more than needed due to a mistimed puncheur is not ideal of course. At least he should remain in a decent spot now.
De Bie losing that much is not good on the other side as gaining in hills with +10-15 hill is just 2-3min but on cobbles with +10-15 cobble is like 15-20min...
All in for Boom then. |

Solid win from Fiedler, congrats Heine
A good TT by Wisniowski. He's in a great position now, hopefully he can hang on.

Solid again from Walsleben! Sixth overall isn’t impossible, and a top 7 even looks likely from the gaps.
And thank you for a huge TT report! That one tok quite some time to read |

Kruijswijk got destroyed harder than expected both on the cobbles and in the TT, so its pretty amazing that he’s still in a decent GC spot. This race is savage

Gotta say i enjoyed the cobbled stage a lot. The race was over for Blythe already but both racing and report on that stage were very entertaining to me.

Close to a perfect stage from our point of view. Now the hilly stage next, so it was good for the boys to get a little breather. We don't have the strongest hilly team, but as long as Wisniowski manages to stay with the field into the final hill, he should be able to keep the jersey. The uncertain factor is of course how Bewley and Summerhill will approach the stage.

Good idea to loose more places for no reason.

An uneventful stage is good news for Walsleben. We’re not doing ourselves any favours not joining the breakaways, but that’s how we seem to toll here. Hopefully Walsleben can limit his losses on the hilly stage, giving us a very nice overall result here. |

That worked out better than I had dared to hope for. Great effort by Pedersen and Wisniowski. Nothing to do with Bewley in the sprint, but such limited gaps was great to see. Now just fingers crossed for an undramatic final stage.
Thanks for the report, Marco!

Not a bad stage for us, with many riders in the front group and Kruijswijk gaining a spot in GC.

Nice to see positive racing from Schreurs with multiple breakaway attempts, shame it's been tough racing for him, but that's what the WT gap year is for
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Lovely team attack there eventhough im slightly annoyed how the team handled the second half of the race where we didnt use our numbers to an advantage.
There is not a single reason to not see Riesebeek try to get in the break (possibly also Oelerich) on the final stage as the KoM classification places are so close!

AC being a goddamn hero! We gave him no real TTT support, he's not good at cobbles, and he's not that good at hills on paper. Yet somehow he's digging deep to rescue something from this race, justifying that eye watering FA wage he's being paid. And not for the first time this season! (we were shockingly close to making a half-decent PT team if we could have landed just one real stage racer/puncher)
Couple of Stage top10's, Top20 GC and a few bonus points off the other riders. Not bad honestly when you know you're long gone from a relegation fight
