It was a nice surprise for us seeing how good KHJ took on that TT and secured a 17th place in the GC.
On the other hand our TT-specialists with Phan Age Haugard as the one with most expections failed once again and could not even deliver top 60 in the TT.
Thanks for reportin! |

I would have gladly taken 4th after the second stage, but missing a sponsor goal for only seconds is a bit hearth breaking.

There was absolutely NOTHING good about this race for us.
Sütterlin behind Herklotz, who in turn got beaten by 68tt Lutsenko and a random Gazelle rider on Evonik-esque luck stealing the jersey anyway just sums it up.
I would never ever leave the ManGame voluntarily, but I don't think i've ever been more thoroughly fed up by it before. Why don't we cut the racing, only do transfers and then award the nicest looking squads.
At least our rivals didn't get as much out of Phinney and Gesink as might have been possible. And huge congrats to Festina!!

Holy f...! I can't cope with this right now!
The Lombardia race will be such an epic finale now.
Obviously having a 1-3 from Coppel and Spilak last season, I was always fancying a top result here, but 1-2, aswell as points and team GC is a huge result, putting us on 600 points for this race.
If my pre-race calculations are correct (They might not be, as I have done them all by head) we were a little more than 350 points behind, and Moser scoring a bit here, but not much. So I think we might be leading with 150-200 points now going into the final race - A race that Peter Sagan could win, to tip the edge right back to Moser.
What a thrilling finale. Much like the 2015 one where we managed to upset Vesuvio in the end.
In terms of the stage, very surprising to see Phinney do this bad. Also it sucks to see Haig performing so well, when having been dropped on the previous stages. Good result from Aegon also, to have a shot at making 4th in the end. Will be a close battle with Vesuvio for sure.
In the other end of the spectrum I believe Ayubowan! will be extremely pleased to see that neither Tinkoff, Strava or Porto really outscored them. The Giro di Lombardia will also be a real killer to follow from those teams.
Spotify are finally cleared with these results, which is a great feat! So 3 of the promoters will survive atleast, possibly even 5, which would be very impressive.

Oh also. Thanks for all the congrats guys. Didn't read them before posting.
Thanks Roman! I really don't think it is closed just yet. Spilak is usually doing extremely poor in Lombardia and Koretzky haven't showed up at all this season. So a Sagan win could well be the decisive result...

Haha, suddenly it seems to be Festina's PT title to lose, again! Congratulations on an incredible TT, SotD.
For my own team, a very anonymous race. Though, taking the positives, that was a sensational TT from Beltran, only loosing around 90 seconds to Coppel. |

This season finale seems to be in full drama mode. Any chance we get a quick ranking update before Lombardia?

Well, my only remaining hope is another miracle result from Sagan, with hopefully a great result from Vakoc + you have to do really badly - and that is a really highly unlikely scenario. Looking forward to find out how far behind we are, but what is sure: the scenario I have expected exactly happened. Tour of Festinia, Tour of Fesmania, Tour of Tastina.

My team did very well here.
That said I still don`t know why Keizer never really has a good TT. He is always a few points behind similar riders. Top10 surely is a good result here and I can`t be unhappy but it`s weird.
Boom therefore the opposite. Regularly having overperforming ITTs and hence is getting some more points, which is nice of course.
De Bie did okay here. About what I have hoped from Tasmania with this trio. Surely could have done a bit better on day 2 but as I expected a stage without big gaps, this is what I needed anyway.
Thanks for the reports and congrats to SotD for this surprising double and hence a more thrilling finale now in Lombardia. |

That "lazy" course of hilly stage played into our favour, Izagirre´s 10th overal is a nice result in this competition.
Congrats to SotD to dominant 1-2 here and third (almost sure) PT title in a row. Roman´s chance may come next season again
