Argh, to bad Stallaert could not take advantage of that chaos. Still decent sprint by him.
Ludvigsson loosing time is not ideal atleast Cort Nielsen have a shot at an okeyish GC place. |

Strava on fire! Kind of good to see the best sprinter here take the stage, eventhough it was very chaotic. Congratulations, Shonak!
Very happy to see Holst Enger navigate that well and go second, which is a very nice stage result for him, I think. Hopefully this is a good sign for what's to come this season, as MSR is the only "sprinter's race" he will do, otherwise he's covering stage races we hope won't see too many top sprinters.
And thank you for the report, Aquarius97, and also the fast pace you've started reporting with |

Nice, we got what we came for. Maybe we will go in some breaks but from here on out, we should save reserves for the last stage, too. The finale wasnt good, one of these AI hiccups that make little sense, often happens in the hills. Nice report nonetheless, Aqua, thanks. And thanks to the congratulations, things are going well indeed

Thanks for your words in my reports! It's great you are enjoying them so far
A shame about the IA in that finale, but at least there were a few sprinters fighting for the win, and not only just "random" riders. Congrats to tsmoha and Shonak for the wins!
Also, about the current pace. Given that i'm also reporting Paris-Nice, and reporting-wise we are in a good situation overally, i felt it could be better to post twice a day until i start with PN

Very happy with the TTT, but it's hard to tell if Malori (lost 26sec) had a bad day and cost us the leader jersey, or if he gave it his all and thanks to him Kritskiy is in a good position GC-wise. Also strange to see Kunshin almost making the podium in a flat stage

Great pace and nice report! KUTGW!
Nothing to report from us, but nothing expected either.
Lecuisinier looks attentive, which is a good sign. I hope he can be on the move on stage 3, despite it not fitting perfectly.

Good to see a rider in the breakaway, hopefully Pernsteiner/Preidler will try on the hilly stages where they could do something

Was about to celebrate some awesome results for Van der Velde and Majka only to see that they lost time in the previous stage

Another stage race with Morton crashing Guess he did well to fight back and limit the losses, even though Herklotz has already quite an advantage in the U25 competition. Well well, it could have gone worse (Dekker), so our Top-10 goal is still well within reach. Good see Dyball providing some depth at this point. Would be cool if he stays in contention for a Top-25 result.
Phinney with a huge win. Guy's a freak.

Wow Silvio! Massive performance today, putting big time into big names.
Too bad he just missed out on the podium and bonus seconds+points, but I would've gladly taken any Top 10 spot today. Some climbers will come back of course.
Nerz disappointing but not unexpected, Bongiorno also a little bit further down than I hoped, but if that was a result of the perfect preparation for Herklotz, I won't complain. Maybe this opens up attacking options.
Commiserations to all crash victims of course, may there be some way to salvage your races.
I really hope the AI will treat Herklotz favorably now regarding positioning and counter-attacking with a second GC place and a jersey on his shoulders.
Bring on the first mountain stage of the season!

Hopefully the bad luck is now done for this race or the next couple races...
Yesterday AI played a game with my team making Groenewegen as 2nd fastest not sprinting.
Today Dekker crashing in the final...I hope the ~3min loss means, he is at least not injured. Still sucks in such a tough field, where gaining back is almost impossible.
At least Boom got the KoM shirt, which I hope he defends.
Thanks for the report. |

Decent TTT. But very disappointing performance by Madrazo in stage 3. The team helped him very well and he repays them by starting the final climb out of position. Hope this was just a case of bad daily form. It's still possible to bounce back.

I love Phinney on this Version of the game the guy is an animal the acid test to come in the mountains will stretch the team a lot but if he's in the same form I'm confident in him |

Pretty good effort by Lecuisinier, to use the hilly stage to his advantage. I would have preferred him getting some bonus seconds here obviously, but a top 5-10 is definately a possibility looking at this result. The mountainstage will be very interesting - hopefully some more aggressive riding

Great start for Phinney showing some cool aggression.
Doubt its enough with those mountains comming but always nice with a head start.
Tiago Machado should also benefit from a stage like this....but

Too much time lost there, GC is going to be difficult.

That was a bad stage for us, Wellens doing okey but loosing time to guys he should gain some seconds on in this stage or atleast stay with some of them.
And Ludvigsson already Lost time in previous stages off course it is Cort Nielsen crashing and loosing time in this stage instead so both those GC hopes is gone. |

Must be happy with that from Guldhammer, eventhough I must admit I had hopes of a stage win here, seeing it as our best shot at stage success in this race. But still, some bonus seconds extra compared to riders he'll most likely compete against for GC placings, + 1'30 to Wellens and Morton is good.
But now comes the difficult part for Guldhammer. Hopefully he'll have a couple of great days and stay in contention for a top 10 overall also in the mountains. |
