Getting mentioned in the report is great on a stage like this. Vaitkus, Konovalovas and Smirnovs(!) all did well in their own ways and I can't really can't ask anything more from them. Being in a break would be nice, but I guess Igor may do just that later on in this race.

Never seen before my team such passive in cobble race. Hard to believe we´ll be almost zero point scorer from this race.

Intense stage as expected. Nothing much for us, but that's not a surprise either. But well the worst has passed for us hopefully.
Nice win from Burghardt, but Pozzatto and Cancellara are too close for him to be comfortable.
Thanks for the report SN.

Nice report from the decisive kilometers, and also a cool stage with Burghardt proving his power.
Summerhill together with him could be key for Wikipedia considering the Pro Tour ranking, as a great result from him here should make it difficult for Vesuvio.
Good to see Kruijswijk up there with the other favourites, unfortunately Breen seems to be injured considering the group he crossed the finish line with. |

The stage result was certainly significant but the crash in stage 1 doomed his GC ambitions. Admittedly he was not a credible podium threat with his very weak TT skills so i don't mean to overstate the crash.
Really the team did everything I could have asked for. Summerhill not going back for TVG worked out well and can't complain about 2nd place. TVG also fought well all things considered, flaksks and eeckhout earned their paychecks there.

Unfortunately.
Was really afraid of him and indeed he made it. Top favorite now imo.
I don't think so. I doubt that the hills will be selective enough, and my bet is definitely Cancellara with the TT's. I'm thinking Schumacher will be top-5 though.

Another fine stage from Pozatto, bring on the hills now!
I think this makes it even more interesting, Burghardt got some time now, but we still got Bewley that can take bonus-seconds, Pozatto/Schumacher/others for the hills and Cancellara for the TT (I might have forgotten someone)
TONE is one of the more interesting races during a season imo, so many different rider types can win it

Better than last years cobbled no show and to be fair about time burghardt did something.
Summer hill underlines that Wikipedia have a really decent cheap cobbled guy who has had a nice year.
Gotta hope for some strong hills performances from canc and or juul jenson.

Rothaus double What a stage for them with many attacks. Deserved win.
Indeed odd to see less gaps in the end. A shame, imo, since this stage went pretty interesting the whole way. Guess those teams chasing were simply too strong then. Would have been cool to see this chasing group(s) holding on to a gap.

Shame Konovalovas couldn't create the gap needed to enter the top 20, but on the other hand Vaitkus is quite close to entering the top 20 as well, which could be possible if he puts in a late attack somewhere.

Just wow. Best stage all year.
I first was afraid that Boom is losing when my puncheurs attacked. But he was together with all GC riders. A bit unfortunate that guys like Cancellara couldn't be gapped a bit.
But nothing to complain. A 1-2 gives me quite a scoring already. So far exactly what I hoped with this squad.
Big time stage. A bit hope again.
LLS also on 19th again. With 40km ITT and another hilly stage even a top 10 not impossible for him while Boom aims for the podium.
Thanks for the report. |

Polnicky, wow! Too bad he is such a bad time trialist, but he is still having an amazing race. Amazing to see him riding in U25 jersey, even only for a stage, Stybar riding well too!
Nice result for Sagan, with some interesting development to see Bewley in a breakaway. One stage later than needed...
Big result for Rothaus, exactly what they needed right now. Big thanks for the report, it was an exciting stage to follow.

Good to see that there weren't too many gaps. Finally, hilly stages not having a major impact helps me. If the same things happen in the second hilly stage, Posthuma has a clear chance to finish on the podium here.
As expected, Broers lost his position in the GC, but it's good to see Leezer in the top 20.
Sinkeldam is only one stat better than Polnicky in TT, so it's going to be a hell of race for the U25 classification.
And fantastic stage for Rothaus!

Well done by Rothaus here, well deserved Roturn!
I feel my team had some strange tactics, but in general did well, even though it ends up in the shadow of Rothaus. I feel Pozatto is in a good position to get a top 3/5

yeah always great to see success for Rothaus. Doubt it will save them but here is hoping - I just love taking the piss out of their crappy GC riders. Actually though LLS is really good all rounder.
Hopeful Cancellara can give great TT, i mean race now has 2 ITTs and one hilly so surely that means Fab is on a good way right

Bizarre race.
Good Energy are really falling apart in the finale of the season. Some of my strongest line ups and just, no.
Still, good to see Diggle give it a go, even though it came to nothing more than 20kom points.
