I guess the TTT will provide us with nothing, so I have to hope that Guerao can pull another win in stage 5 or 6.

Should be an interesting little TTT coming after two hard stages, perhaps the lardy TTers may be tired out?
Just noticed Tsmoha rather brilliantly put TT stats in the OP - what a guy he is - just fantastic.
Schleck looks very solid indeed in the lead don't think his team will lose much ground if any in the TTT - they do not seem to give huge gaps.
Hoping after TTT SRB can make a nice breakaway attempt. I rather fancy the chasing may stop after this hard opening couple of days.

Guldhammer is doing incredibly well right now. He is not the strongest climber but is still sitting nicely in 8th place, and wearing the young riders jersey.

Talking about TTT, awesome TTT team from bpost. All guys close to eachother, should be able to hold a high tempo without loosing anyone. My experience from having 1-2 good TTers in the PCT was that many at an ok stat is better than 2 great ones and a weaker team.
I'm scared for Sella in the TTT, he will slow down my team :/

More of the same. At least we'll go into the TTT with a full squad. I'd be incredibly happy to win that, but I'm afraid Count's squad is going to run away with it! I'm excited. Thoroughly enjoying this one tsmoha, thank you!
Don't worry my guys have made a habit of stuffing it
I just don't know what to say about VDB... I really just don't. The only hope is that he was just saving himself in some sort of cunning AI thing so that we can win the TTT. If we win that then I don't even care if VDB is nowhere on GC. I just want a PT win
@ Heine - That was pretty much my thought when I was constructing my team. I tried to get as many guys around 76-78 as I could rather than a couple of guys 80+ backed up by guys around 75.

If I had known that lots of mediocre time trialists are soooo much better than 2-3 good ones alongside weaker riders, I would have taken a different squad here.
Schädlich surely would be in the Dauphinee instead trying to get a ITT podium there.
Congrats to Count for finally getting he win. Much deserved with that awesome TTT squad. Nice to see former rider Van Aelbroeck being part of this.

Above expectations from us, only a few seconds slower than Bpost is certainly a pleasant surprise.
Good to se CountArach and Bpost finally get that PT win |

Yeh, congrats to Bpost for a win at last.
A bit annoying that Schleck lost a second or two on the rest of the team, but it should hardly matter as the gaps remain pretty similar.

A nice result there for the SRB job squad this does underline that there is the potential for a big performance in the longer TTT moment later on this year.
Utterly pointless for GC really, TTTs are a sideshow and a nice treat for the mangame peeps to see group picks of their guys.
Now cmon guys get in breaks please

I don't know what we could do without Cunego, a legend. Still in the game for a top 3.

Congrats to Count! That was a really bad performance from my guys, I thought we'd at least be good for a podium with our lineup. That was pretty ugly.

Count will be definitely very happy once he awake
I hope we´ll grab some more points in upcoming two flat stages, small hills near finish are a bit scary, though.

I'm not usually one for dancing bananas but...

I'm so happy to finally have that win. Even if we get relegated at least now I've got something to look back on fondly Thanks for the congratulations guys and thanks tsmoha for the report.

Great to see Breen got the chance in a breakaway despite Contador's GC ambitions! It has been a brilliant season for him so far, and a third place here just adds to that.
Hopefully we can be part of the breakaway on the next stage as well, as it's difficult to fancy the sprinters teams doing the chasing considering they didn't go for it on this stage, which looks easier compared to stage 6. |

@ Count I see your banana and raise another ... ....
So nice to see a loaned rider come on in and take a clever stage win and what a forceful sprint, De Bie is going to be a dangerous rider soon enough. Santambrogio is a tough man to beat in a sprint so a good win, must admit I had forgotten Kazzinc existed!
same again in next please ....(sprinters teams get ready to hurl brick at Smowz...)

Well I asked for it and another breakaway win. For Lotto this time.
Must be a bit of a sickener for the sprinters teams - but the parcours didn't really look too favourable for sprints (besides the AI is pretty terrible at judging these sorts of stages).
Now a lot more tension for a really nasty looking day in the saddle sensing a bit of a classic stage here.

Come on.
The rare time my riders go into the breakaway, they always finish in the last spots not getting the big points.
On one screenshot Olivier was in a perfect position and on the next in a bad position. He must have lost his speed in between those. |

Another rest day for the GC riders, hopefully it means fireworks on the Queen stage.
Nice to see Kazzinic show themselves as a wildcard team, and congratulations to Rin on the stage. Maybe a sign for what is to come from Cunego? |
