Well nice move from Schumacher, still the usual disappointing GC place from him.

Zingle has at least ensured this race isn't a complete waste for us.

At least one rider in my team is doing what he's supposed to do

Well played by Boily. When I saw him there I suspected he was the strongest in the group, but I didn't see him go all the way. Also climbing very well into the GC, is sort of making up for Shitty Ricco.
I guess 12th and 16th will only become pissier after the TT though.

Great win from Meyer out of the break.
Van Garderen has been solid considering some other favorite's struggles, but will lose some time in the TT.
Cool to see Boily win as well

At least Kratochvila was present in that breakaway, if nothing else...

Boasson Hagen fails to deliver a win, but he's consistent, which has given him a shot at a top three overall
It should be a close fight, and I think it will come down to daily form. Hopefully Taaramäe and Gesink have been gapped by enough, but I'm far from sure.
Strong win from Boily, congrats Festina.
Thanks for the report, roturn. I'm definitely looking forward to the TT. |

I don't think Ponzi will remain in the Top 5 after the TT, but the points lead for a few days and possible win in that, combined with the GC lead for a day is always a nice reward for the home grown talent. I thought I was going to be lucky with the Team GC as well, but Vueling is sneaking that one away.

Congrats to all stage winners and GC winners.
For me this was a mediocre race.
LLS as 11th with a good result even though I had hoped for a top10. But this more or less was it point wise. No good stage result except for the ITT. No breakaway appearance, which is a shame and due to Roux out no late GC points.

A decent race from Boasson Hagen, but he's missing a stage win. Jjust like last year he'll go into the Ardennes without a win, and with his racing so far, it's far from obvious he'll come close to repeat last year's success.
Congratulations to Oleg, Trofimov with a solid performance through the whole race and a deserved race winner.
Thanks for all the reports, roturn! |

Great reports as usual. 5th place is quite pleasing for me, especially with some of the riders Ponzi managed to beat - though perhaps in the seasons to come he'll have to work on TTing...

Very unfortunate that Ricco lost those 3 minutes, otherwise this race would have been perfect...
A stagewin, the young riders jersey, 3rd in the mountains competition, and some decent stageresults from Ricco. In the end 13th and 14th is alright.

Congrats to Oleg and thanks for the reports.
Nothing to celebrate here at all. One of these days I am going to get a puncheur who doesn't hideously underperform. Then my team will be unbeatable.

Thanks CountArach, ember and roturn! Still on schedule for a 5 out of 5 sponsorgoals this season.
And although I have a mediocre cobble squad (Kozontchuk and Zubov), I'm looking forward to Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris - Roubaix.

Too bad that Dave Z didn't get that win, but overall a good ING race.

Trofimov is well deserved winner and definitely not only waste of money...cough cough
2nd for Roche is huge result and I´m happy with it! Still, I dislike AI which couldn´t handle with 2 leaders (Ginanni/Roche, Bakelants/Taaramae or Schleck/Gastauer). That´s annoying and (will) cost me a lot of valuable points.
Thanks roturn for great and fast reporting!

Congrats Oleg, Trofimov is a deserved winner. Very nice stage-race in the end, just not for us. The field is tight in hilly races, but I was actually hoping Rui Costa could use his HIL/TT combo to take advantage in this sort of event. Too bad for us.
Thanks for all the reports roturn

Good race by Valverde. Couldn't have asked for much more. Also a nice top-20 spot and winner of the team competition. Again, not sure that the latter actually gives any points, but it goes to show that these newly promoted guys aren't too shabby |
