Hi Emmea. Also trying to d/l the 2011 giro stages pack from the Cycling manager Italia site. Having managed to create an account and log in, I get this error message

Time Gap is the time needed for a gap to be counted on the results. Usually it is like this:
flat stages = 20, hilly stages = 10, mountain stages =7
But there are exceptions, if for example there is a flat stage with a hill near the end of it, you could put to let's say 15, because there could happen an attack in that hill and a rider winning in front of the pack.
Hill/Mountain ratio is which stat will be used by the game to calculate how will a rider go in the climbs: with 0, solely the hill stat will be used, while if it is 1, only the mountain stat. If it's 0,5, it will be quite an average of both, and so on.
If you have a MTF, this value is probably 1, even if there are some hills before the MTF. If there's no big mountain on the stage, then it could be 0, or a mixing. Depends on the profile of the stage. You could see if it's classified as hilly or mountain, it could give an indication.
Finally, uphill sprint ratio (which actually goes from 0-0,7) is if the game will use the hill stat or the sprint stat on the final sprint. If it's a flat stage, or at least a more hilly stage but with a flat finish, this value should be 0. But if the stage ends on a hill, like the Ardennes, the value should be near 0,7.
Sometimes there's a notepad coming together with the pack with the values for the stages. Looks like it isn't this case though, so you'll have to add them by yourself.
