Good thing for us that there were no gaps as Remco was very far from the front of the race.

For Kinoshita's sake we need gaps, for Dennis' sake we don't. Could end well, could end bad

Out of the top 10 and out of the white jersey, but this is still an amazing result from Remco.

Yeah we got the unsatisfying ending. Kinoshita finished too far back and Dennis lost a lot, so we end up with nothing.
Thanks for the reports seancoll and congrats cio!

Oh boy. Nothing seems to work. Relegation seems to be somewhat settling in.

Not great from De Bie, but hard to expect much more when the final stage clearly was more MO influenced than HI influenced. Makes sense when looking at the profile up close as there's barely any flat, but definitely turns this into one for the stage racers rather than the puncheurs. Whoever De Bie rides for next year can benefit from any changes in that regard though
Congrats to cio and thanks for the reports! |

3rd for Lopez behind Herklotz and Phinney is fully okay. Even if being annoyed by Phinney in two locations at the same time is annoying
Kudus to Foss, Gavars and Eenkhoorn who all contributed to a good team result here.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Completely empty race for us besides Skjelmose in the break today. Horrible from Aranburu. Knew GC was out of the question but he was both completely passive and fell off the pace way too early.
Needed to bring Kamna here, no idea how I missed that.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

I got those "favourable splits" I was looking for
It was interesting seeing Pogacar in a more supporting/free role with Geoghegan Hart as the leader. That attack with 10 km to go certainly must have made the finish more difficult. Shame he couldn't hold on to the leaders at the end, but TGH was there for a great 5th place on the stage!
He's been really tremendous for us all year long
We got huge scoring from this race with the GC results: TGH 4th, Pogacar 10th, Craddock 14th, Habtemichael 17th and Borisavljevic 22nd. Super happy with the latter three as we're back in our depth scoring element

Congrats to cio, called it
Thanks to Sean for the reports

Probably need one stage win or lucky gaps.

Apologies for being pessimistic, Silvio! That was decisive on both days, and I definitely underestimated today's finale which couldn't have been more tailor-made for his skillset.
Speaking of, Taylor had a great day too and I'm happy to have seen this duel possibly for the last time. Congrats!
I'm glad knockout is happy with a podium spot for MAL too, surely you could've argued this was his race to lose after the comparably small TT gaps.
We definitely have to take a look at the stage setting here before next season, at least to me those time gaps appear silly and could've easily messed with the GC result on any other occasion.
Obviously this also depends on who we want this race to suit.
On that topic, Madouas did a great job supporting Herklotz on s3, sadly he didn't get to translate this into a Top 15 or at least Top 20 overall as would've been deserved.
Stork did well in the prologue, while it looks like Cemazar grabs a point or two for the U25 as well.
Overall, a massive result both points-wise and, just as importantly, another achieved sponsor goal.
Thank you sean for your reporting! And the congratulations are much appreciated!

I see this as a race that should be very close between whoever of Phinney, Herklotz and Lopez is attending. Obviously id rather see Lopez winning the final stage and then gaps and time bonus being the luck of the roll which one gets the luckier end. But 1st to 3rd is all very realistic. And in those cases im usually satisfied with getting the 3rd place as long as we raced in a way where the first place would be possible on a good day.
Happy might be the wrong word but Lopez had a solid prologue, was well positioned on both hilly finishes and just ended up with the less good legs compared to the two rivals. Not always being the strongest on every day is part of the game and so i might not be happy but satisfied/content with the result. Especially as the rest of the team contributed some depth points too.
Congrats to you obviously!

Preidler with a surprise result, I must say. Had hoped for Mohoric magic pre race, but seeing how that final stage unfolded, that was always unlikely. It’s a bit of a no pointer for us, which is unfortunate seeing our lineup, but not totally unpredictable, seeing the amazing startlist and depth we were up against.
Congratulations on a big GC win, cio! Cool to see a very nice battle between Herklotz, MAL and Phinney. Hopefully the first two will face more often in the next years, as that was pure quality. |

More or less as expected a nothing race for us. Didn't really have a great place for Würtz, so thought he should get a chance close to home. But with very top heavy start list, it wasn't worth much
Congrats to cio on a great performance from Herklotz

Mediocre prologue from our side, but a nice break away attempt by Trakhov (and a strange mid stage attack by Skujins) during Stage 2. Too bad we lost the KoM jersey in the end.
Thanks for using the Scandinavia Sponsorkit seancoll.
