That was something really, really special from Anderberg. Very surprised to see AI work that well combining Wisniowski and Anderberg. Thought Wisniowski looked super strong with his many early attacks, but to see Anderberg come back, launch, go clear solo and win it, that was something I had not imagined at all
As some of you have already pointed out, very happy to see this after his training. Promising for what is to come post-Wisniowski.
A superb team effort and depth scoring as well, with another two riders in the top 30, and two more in the top 50. Very happy to see six riders in the top 50, as the early signs for putting money into our cobbles team look good.
Good day for the Scandinavian teams. Congrats to ember especially on a great result and a breakthrough win for Hampus.
Solid race by Pedersen, but it seems like we perhaps missed Tiller when the group got selective. Instead Pedersen was isolated, so a bit disappointed that we didn't have anyone else in the top 20. But it's a solid start to the cobbles season and hopefully we can build on it.
I think in our current state and with cobbles having become more of a training focus in recent times, I can be happy with our performance here.
Nieuwenhuis did a great job to get into the break and sadly it was just not quite enough for the bonus points, but our Meiler/Rutsch/Cavagna trio got some solid depth points in 23rd/30th/31st.
Congrats to ember! That's some well-invested training money already.
I also enjoyed watching Carlsberg starting to score big.
Given that cobbles aren’t the team’s strongest terrain, hard not to be happy with the level of scoring here. Dekker doing reasonably well is also a good sign when thinking about cobbles training moving forward. Thanks for the report!
