Wow, what a startlist! It is going to be one hell of a battle for the places in the GC. Thankfully I will not have to root for my rider, as I don't expect anything big here from König, I sent him here as my main climber with an idea he could hopefully get himself to the breakaways and go for polka-dot jersey and hunt stages, but he could even get me absolutely nothing as well, anything from him will be a big bonus, as well from Kratochvila. I will root for my former guys Uran and Henao, but let's say it would be nice to see Andy Schleck winning the Tour on the road at least in the Man-Game.
You are a fan of him, right(like me)
But I also want him to win on the road a least in Man-Game

I think another team is also missing. There was an issue with the start list at first. Apparently the old screenshot made it into the preview. But your team is there with Monsalve.
Great, I hope he will attack early on some mountain stages and steal the climbers jersey. If my team somehow wins a stage in this race I will be more than happy. My team is out of its league here

Very nice preview. I really regret that I didn't put Spilak in the Vuelta instead... I can hardly believe that he will be on the podium after losing a race perfectly suited for him to Rein Taaramae. If that is his current level, then I suspect he will be 5th-6th... The other option is that he crashes and doesn't finish like Riccardo Ricco at the Giro.
I'm not optimistic at all, but still I'm looking very much forward to the race. It has to be the biggest race of the entire season looking at that startlist, so it will be very interesting to see what happens. There are so many different goals and strengths, and most of the best riders are present (Obviously deducting some of the sprinters and hilly/cobbled riders).

I also kinda wish I had sent Andy to the Vuelta instead, but oh well, he is here now. I had resigned myself to the fact that a Win here would be a struggle but that emphatic Tour de Suisse performance has given me new hope. It won't be easy though, and he needs to take a leaf out of Alarcon's book to go on the attack early and wipe out the deficit from that long ITT.
I expect Madrazo to deliver an improved Santander performance here, and actually that Spilak will step it up and finish comfortably ahead of Taaramae this time. But the Dauphine has shown that the result can be unpredictable, which should make the racing all the more exicting.
Hopefully there will be enough interest to chase down the break on Mountain stages so that the top guns can fight it out for stage wins regularly. (As well as more ranking points!)
Good to see I won't be the only one supporting Schleck though!

Well our obvious plan is to fight for the TTT and hope for a win over ING because that will net a hell of a lot of points over the first week, which also concludes in that ITT. Hopefully Cornu is still around the top 10 at that point and we can get him one final good GC placing before the mountains start. Then our team fades away into oblivion.
I think this is Pluchkin's year with that mountain TT.

Good luck everyone, I enjoyed participating last season.
I'll cheer on the Wildcard teams since I'm mostly just happy they won't be racing against Abal at Southland.

Jesus, that's a strong start field!
After Rein's Dauphine triumph, I'm hoping he can fulfill l the team goal here of a top 10.
I'm predicting a top 3 of Pluchkin, Spilak and Tenorio, no idea what order in though.

Great preview guys!
I'm really looking foward to this race, although i don't think we'll do anything of note with this kind of start list. If Uran & Intxausti aren't even the best GC riders in PCT, i doubt they'll be able to do anything when the riders are actually stronger .

to Schleck fan & Co.: May I ask you to use spoilers (or make your message shorter by other way) instead of quoting to prevent such long and for most users not really interesting posts?
to Oleg: nice work, I´m only missing Tenorio and Intxausti between TOP10 contenders

If you notice, that's on purpose actually. He used one rider from each team only.

I honestly have hoped for a bit more. Top3-7.
But anyway. The win was obvious. |

Yeah good performance from SRB boys, but literally hundredths from 2nd place which would have scored more. just couldn't quite hold that early pace. Beating Bpost was good though so cannot complain.
iNG got the win by a big margin, they should hold lead positions for a while so a good chance to score big early here.
Fantastic report really felt the TTT was used as extra preview like it would on TV, would be nice to see TTT as first stage of 'real' tour one day. nice start for the likes of Phinney and Pluishkin will be interesting to see whether late climb tomorrow scrambles pack.

ING looks like the team to beat in the later Kopenhagen TTT classic then really dominanting. Great report, roturn! Enjoyed the team's introductions and stuff.

5TH?! ****ing 5TH?!
I want to hit something.
This race is officially a write off unless I jag something from a break.
