Thanks for a nice report, roturn! We didn't manage to have a rider in the breakaway, which meant it was always going to be an anonymous race for us, but 13th in the end by Sibilla is pretty good. |

Exciting race! AMEXpc put Breschel into the top 10 and we are celebrating that small victory. The veteran Bernhard Eisel has probably raced for his final time on the PT and finished 25th.
I want to thank the PT teams for allowing us to run four cobble races this season. We are pleased with our results and hope the PT organizers may consider us for future Wild Cards.
Omloop Het Nieuwsblad: Top Finisher Bernhard Eisel 23rd
Rhonde van Vlaandaren: Top Finisher Matti Breschel 9th
Paris Roubaix: Top Finisher Matti Breschel 16th
Stradia Antica Appia: Top Finisher Matti Breschel 7th
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

Goal accomplished! What a fantastic report and exciting race too! Nearly perfect race from Bewley, great tactics how to win the race almost on his own with only basic support team. Thank you for all these nice congrats!

I think we will be back next season.. With a rouleur team but not with a cobbler.
Not a Top 10 is quite disappointing.

Great active ride from Summerhill, was caught out once but seemed strong at the finale.
Bewley and Cancellara deserved the first two places, real good efforts from them.

Really good race and a report to match it. Thanks roturn.
So my team finally decided to use Albert in the way that worked so well last season and it really paid off. 5th,10th and 4 more in the top 40 is a huge result for us the way things are going this season.

Had hoped for somewhat better results when I saw the spilt where I had some guys well placed... Seems like it wasn't meant to be. I guess I will get some better results next year when Zepuntke is better

It's never too late to apologize for this fuck up again and thank roturn a lot for helping out here, a great report to go with a fun race.
Now in case anyone will still read this...

But the more interesting thing is the sprint train issue. This season all my cobblers were useless outside of cobbled races. But I guess Vanmarcke at least would make a nice first leadout in 1-2 years in case I have a sprinter until then, who gets his own sprint train.
This is indeed a very interesting topic and something I especially focused on when slowly starting to build a new, young cobbles core after selling the aging Nuyens.
Daniel will max out at 79 cobbles, 76 sprint.
Ringheim will max out at 78 cobbles, 73 sprint.
Declerq will max out at 77 cobbles, 73 hills.
Lander, while first of all becoming a sprinter at 79 sprint, will have a handy 73 cobbles.
So you see, I definitely ensured none of my important cobbles riders for the future will only be filler material for the actual majority of their race days, no matter whether PCT or PT.
