Bittersweet end with Kristoff winning the bunch sprint, but the breakaway running away with the win.

All in all another disappointing race for us, as Kristoff lost all the time on the cobbles, and not on the hills. Had it been the latter, his GC would have been nice, but as this played out, it feels like we come away from the race with less than what could have been.

Very proud of 2nd place of Gusev and trekbmc thank you for the quality reports, in hindsight Gusev could have won this race Shock

Miracles can happen from time to time Pfft

Winning a TTT opener and keeping of yellow from the beginning until the end is really something. I definitely consider this as a one of the most valuable results in my MG-carreer (6-7 seasons or so) Smile
