Anyone have a read on how I should be reading these stage results?
Fine TTT but the randomness of the other stages made it a bit of a nothingburger. Thanks for the report.

I think that kills Higuitas GC hopes, dropped by his team to loose 13 minutes...

Gc situation feels mostly unchanged. Next stage can throw things around if we get heavy crosswinds. Definitely a crucial stage for us.
RIP Higuita

I think s.t. means the rider lost the same time as the entire team (see first table) and riders with an actual time loss in the results obviously lost tht. Order doesnt matter so a s.t. rider behind a big time loss refers to the team's best finisher.

Goal was to win the TTT, but I can't complain when our 2nd place resulted in wearing the yellow jersey as a pleasant surprise.
Really nice gesture of Sivakov losing 1 extra second so his buddy Rikunov can take yellow, hopefully it won't backfire; meaning Rikunov will still have to protect Sivakov - and not the other way around - in the coming 3 stages during for example potential echelons... May the winds bless our travels!

As good a TTT as I could've hoped for. Too bad it probably will be useless as Haig is too far down to get any kind of positioning on the climbs.
Sucks for Higuita. Time to turn into Shikuita
Congrats to Oleg and thanks for the report!

Solid first few stages getting two stages early always helps, especially since things will get quiet quick for us in the second and third weeks. Big chance to grab even more success in the next few stages, will be big for Cullaigh in particular, hope it won't be too difficult with the potential crosswinds tomorrow and he can grab a good chunk of points towards the green Jersey.

Rough on Higuita, no doubt.
Curious to see where this leaves when we get to the mountains. Hopefully we're in a position recognized by the AI to be allowed to go into breakaways on the early mountain stages with JP Lopez and Williams. That was the strategy in the planning, obviously with no guarantees for results, but at least that's what we hope for to be part of some fun and exciting racing.
Would be super cool to see some action in the wind now! As more of a follower of the race, I definitely hope for it |

Tough stage for us. Lecuisinier made it safely and Ansons also defends his current GC spot so i cant complain too badly about this but Foss losing four minutes, Eenkhoorn seven minutes and both our U25 guys losing time and a spot in the youth comp is rough

What the fuck happened to Higuita? I thought he might struggle with such a strong TTT team but that’s ridiculous. Hoping for some Shikai vibes for week 3 now.
Crap TTT from us. Crap stage from Stüssi to follow that up. It’s so hard to tell these days how much of an impact early time losses actually have though with how random GT’s are becoming, could be a good thing? Who knows. Nur Hasan looked the goods there, but Rabobank just don’t know how to lose at the moment. A shame he could only manage 5th after such a good ride, but could have been a lot worse than that that’s for sure.
Congrats Alex on your continued dominance, and thank you for the reports!

It's clear our team just doesn't care about Skjelmose unfortunately. We had a bunch of guys stay in the front group including 67 flat Eg, but 73 flat Skjelmose just trails away every time. Really disappointing, but what are you gonna do in this engine.
Good news is at least Rodenberg had a nice sprint at the front and we get some points out of it today. If he's the one causing Skjelmose's AI to be atrocious, at least we're getting some value from it.

Any stage with Haig not losing time is a success

Great 4th place by Prasad! That is a surprise result for us. Great to have him try his luck in the sprint and follow the right wheels for a good placing.
There is no stopping Rabobank this year. Congratulations again, alex! |

Not ideal to see all those splits here for 2nd tier riders.
Lucky that Phinney stayed in first group, surprised he was isolated there, which is not ideal.
Vanhoucke obviously lost big time here but I don`t mind as he will lose as support in the mountains anyway.
Before the TTT was okay. Might have hoped for a bit more than 8th but then again it was all about bringing Phinney into position and without the ~50s loss on an earlier stage, he would even be close to the GC lead and right now is having a bit of a gap to most GC riders. So far so good.
Thanks for the reports! |

cycleYorkshire have to win the next stage now if they want to keep up
What a Tour so far for us. 3/6 stage wins, days in yellow and green and the team looks quite well put together into helping the leader for the stage. Hopefully Aniolkowski can continue to strong sprint results to have a shot at green in Paris.
On the downside, Formolo losing more time, but you can't have them all. And I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing. It ruins the GC, but it's perfect to go for the KoM.

Decent TTT for us.
Almost the entire team lost minutes in those splits, but luckily Leknessund evaded them.

Except for the fact that the team leader lost 15 minutes it was a nice TTT from the team I do like to see the attacks of several riders as well in the flat stage from yesterday, although it might come back to hunt us a little bit when their efforts are needed in other (mountainous) breakaway stages. Thanks for the fantastic reporting as usual, Imladrik!

This is so pathetic, why is a roleur on our team two minutes ahead of our GC leader? Disgusting effort from us so far, only hope is winning the fallen GC leader breakaway lottery. Sorry to be so negative all the time but this season is taking it out of me.
Thanks for the excellent reporting Imladrik, sorry to just be moaning in response when you're doing the huge effort of a GT and at really good quality too.

Can't win them all and when he's not winning it looks like Aniolkowski is finishing 4th
We'll take slightly increasing the lead in the green jersey classification as a successful stage.
Let's see what the mountains will bring!

Stage podium! That is definitely something to cheer for for us. Happy with Prasad doing another good sprint, very well done to be relevant at the front in the final 500 meters.
Beautiful win for Fabi and Groves. Congratulations! |

Really underwhelming from Hsu so far considering he’s considered a top 3 sprinter in the preview screen and the team works so much for him |
