Yet another trailer
Pro Cycling Manager 2010

Update, 5th of June 17:22: A few more videos, including one of the new Stage Editor in action, have been revealed on the official PCM10 website. You can see them here. Thanks to JMURB for the tip.

With the release around the corner, Cyanide feels it's time to feed us with yet another trailer of Pro Cycling Manager 2010. Since we've had a few of these by now, I'm not going to make a huge deal out of it - so here's the link. Enjoy!

Official update to the PCM.daily 2010 DB coming soon
News

As promised when the 1st version was released, we'll be releasing an update to our 2010 database soon. The usual beta version is expected to be ready in a couple of days while the final version - and our very last release for PCM09 - will be released c. a week after the beta version.

The update will contain a stats upgrade (the last changes were done after today's time trial in the Giro d'Italia), updated 2010 shirts and plenty of new race leader and national championship shirts and a new equipment setup. A few teams have been deleted and replaced by others. We've also updated a bunch of races, so they now have their 2010 profile, including the Vuelta a Espana. Lastly, we've of course been going through the bug reports and fixed them.

We're back
News

After c. 24 hours of downtime, we're finally back online.

This time, we can't (really) blame the host (reseller), though. To put it as short as I can: PCM.daily shares the same server with a couple of other sites. One of these other sites apparently had some illegal material on the server which made the actual host shut down the entire server.

Needless to say, the legal department isn't quite as helpful as the support department ;)

Fantasy Cycling: Transfers for June
PCM.daily's Fantasy Cycling

It's that time of the month to start thinking about who you'll be bringing in, and taking out, of your Fantasy Cycling teams. As SportingNonsense wisely predicted in the last transfer article, the Giro has been the biggest points scorer since the game began, and with a few Pro Tour stage races coming up in June, maybe it's time to look forward to the Tour in July?

The Tour of Luxembourg may see the appearance of Lance Armstrong, and can we presume he'll do the Criterium Dauphine too? Either way, they're potentially two big scoring events, and you've got to look at the Tour de Suisse too. A few one day HC races are scattered about, notably Philladelphia, but other than that just one heck of a lot of one dayers (my personal nightmare to score). Oh, and National Championships!

Please note that transfers MUST be PMed to rjc_43 or posted in this Comments Section.

Any transfers PMed to SportingNonsense this month will 99% likely be ignored. He has exams, and so it's just a one man show this month.

The deadline is 23:59 GMT time, on the 31st of May, which happens to be a Monday. If you're extra special to me, I might let you PM me the transfers at 00:00 on the 1st of June.

Also, remember to check your previous months teams, and budget before doing transfers - I shall endeavour to get them up in the correct forum ASAP.

Tremades: New World Road Race Champion
News

Over the past month, Cycling Manager Italy has been running the World Championship in PCM09. In the main event, the Road Race, Tremades from Poland managed to take the victory ahead of Frensh_Revolution and CampioneRegionale. Generally speaking, not many of the active PCM.daily members took part in the Road Race event.

There were plenty of PCM.daily action in the track part of the World Championship, though. Both SportingNonsense and I reached the keirin final which ended with an Italian gold medal to ITA_alste, silver to me and bronze to Gheto_1. SportingNonsense took 6th.
SportingNonsense also made his way to the final in the elimination along with other PCM.daily regulars such as Untal, OzzyPL and Jonathan. In an extreme close final elimination, Armstrong_POR took the gold medal ahead of Ghosty_92 and Stinoo. SportingNonsense finished 11th.
In the Points Race, Pole Adams55 became the World Champion, while Ghosty_92 took the Scratch World Championship title. Lastly, gheto_1 won the 200 m time trial title.

In the end, Italy won the Track Medals Ranking, having won 1 gold and 2 silver medals, while Belgium won the most medals (5), 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze. Germany came in third thanks to Ghosty_92's gold medal in scratch and silver medal in elimination.
