With only a couple of months until the PCM14 release, it is time for the annual world cup to crown the best PCM players around and also wave goodbye to the current version of the game. PCM France are organizing the events, but anyone is free to try their luck.

New console game (probably) available for PS4 users too
No need to fear if you'd like to play the Tour de France 2014 console game, but have swapped out your old PS3 for a PS4, as it looks like there's a PS4 version to be added alongside the previous PS3 and Xbox 360 ones. The source for this is Rin, who spotted PS4 on the list of consoles for TDF 2014 on Amazon.
Please note that this is not a guarantee, but it is likely.
While we have previously seen a picture of a computer where the upcoming Pro Cycling Manager 2014 were being played, we're yet to see the first actual screenshots - until now...
As some of you may be aware, Cyanide has a developer blog right here, which was recently used to showcase some of the new buildings that you'll soon get to experience in PCM14.
With the Tour starting in Britain this year, the developers have focused on creating British-style houses and environment. Realistic? Well, you tell me - check out the screenshots right here.
FDB14 now available...
The release didn't come soon enough to make it into last week's news, but after many hours of hard work PCM Focus proudly announced their latest DB earlier this week. 2014 ManGame: Off we go!
With one classic for each division, the new ManGame season kicked off for real yesterday. Have a look at Badaling International, Down Under Classic and Clasica San Cristobal to find out which three riders became the first three to open their tally of victories this year, and hang around for many more races in the upcoming months!
With the incredibly popular The Comeback coming to an end earlier this week, there was never much of a question as to which story would claim this month's main award. However, worth noting is that it came down to a closer vote than perhaps expected, and a difference of only two votes between the first two stories.
Among the new stories, it is Trek Factory Racing #2014 that comes out on top. admirschleck appears to have found the right concept at last, after a number of tries in the past. baia's FDJ.fr follow in 2nd, three points behind.
From stages to DBs for Stylus
Some three months ago, Stylus was elected stage maker of the year, but it seems that covering one aspect of PCM isn't enough for the Italian member. His latest project is a historical DB from the year 2000, and the first preview screens and features have just been published. No exact release date has been given yet, but it is supposed to be at some point later this month.
And lastly - don't miss the Ronde!
In case you, for some reason didn't know, coverage will start any minute now - so get off the computer and find a TV close to you! ;-)
PCM.Daily to co-sponsor a cycling team! (April Fools)
We have reached news on the whereabouts of CrueTrue and what he has been up to on his "extended vacation." Turns out he wasn't just basking in the sun but conducting serious business.
We are absolutely delighted to relay the news that PCM.Daily is going to be the co-sponsor the Danish continental team Cult Energy for the 2015 season!
For those that don't know, the team was founded in 2000 as the "Cycling Horsens" and as of last season has been sponsered by Cult Energy. The Cult Energy team currently sits in 11th position in the 2014 UCI European Tour.
How is this possible? CrueTrue was able to pull a few strings within the cycling community and his unique proposal peaked Cult Energy's interest. The major incentive, as we have been told, is the influence of the PCM.Daily community to bring in new and euthastic cycling fans for their fanbase.
However to make all this possible, there is a small catch. The money needed to support this co-sponsorship have to be funded somewhere. The solution? PCM.Daily is going to be charging a small fee for their next major database. This would be the PCM.Daily's 2014 DB coming out this summer for Pro Cycling Manager 2014. The estimated cost as of now is 5 euros (but could get cheaper).
In the next few days, the PCM Focus DB team will be adding the final adjustments to their new 2014 DB. Alongside usual features like updated stats, squads and stages, it also includes new things like feeding stations in stages and a new interface for PCM. A full list, plus some sneak peak screens and promo videos can be found over here!

Voting is still only in its early stages, so jump in and make sure that the shirt you like makes it all the way!
They were widely appreciated last year, but eventually started fading away due to the heavy workload that was necessary in order to keep them going. However, the crit series have returned with Australia's Bay Cycling Classic - offering a chance for riders from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan and Great Britain to show themselves before the actual season starts.
