I am having that problem where i can't sign any riders due to me being at the max of my salary budget, and i have seen on this forum that i should edit some of my riders wages so i will have spare budget to sign.
But my question is how do i edit some of my riders wages?

Use either the Advanced Editor or Hannes Converter.
Open the table DYN_cyclist and find the IDs of the cyclists that you want to change the wage of
Open the table DYN_contract_cyclist and edit the wage of the cyclist that you want, either by sorting by team or cyclist ID. |

Hannes Converter is in the downloads section.
<----- There. Says "Downloads" under "Pro Cycling Manager 09".
It's an application. Use it to use your save game and edit it.

Done everything that has been said but which column is the wages and do i then just type in a number?

The column is "finan_f_period_wage" in DYN_contract_cyclist.
And yes, just type in the number that you want the wage to be, press save and then export to .cdb (which is then your new save game) |

I used hannes editor and i cant find column for wages or contracts. I find financial for the team, but not for the riders. |

Why not read this thread through? It states that you have to use Hannes Converter or Advanced Editor. |

I know this is a bit off the current subject but still to do with wages....
I was wondering if anyone could help me? i currently have a custom career and am about a quarter through my third year, i have a wage budget of 70k but it looks as though i'm going to have full sponsor confidence and think i will meet all goals. So my question is how much money do you think that i'll get for wages next year because i could try and sign Robert Gesink but am worried i'll over do my wages... thank you for help in advance. |

It is not all about next years budget. How much money do you have? If Gesink helps you win races you will earn money during the season. You might get better secondary sponsors if you have a better team.
Do you have remaining budget in this season?
If you over do your wages you could kick the medicals or scouts to save money. (And of course you could fix the budget using an editor to save your career if nothing else helps) |

Thanks Lach.. never really thought of sacking scouts but looks like there getting the ass... just don't tell them.... think with Gesink i could maybe challenge for top 3 spot at a GT in may team... Cheers mate |
