how can i remove them from the game?
they are to many, i deleted the files, but they still show on the game

You'd need to edit the DB. In many DBs, equipment is linked to teams, though, so if you delete the equipment, it'll crash in 3D mode. |

so, you're saying that there's no easy way to do it
the pcmdaily pack adds tons of equipment, and the list it's huge ingame, and looks bad like that IMHO. |

Perhaps, there's an easy way.
If you open the DB with the Advanced Editor (aka Full Editor), find the STA_equipment_marques. If you delete some of these, I guess it'll work (no guarantees, though). |

you're talking about the one that comes with the game, right? or there's a different way to go to that "advanced" editor?
ps: tried the original editor, hannes editor, and i can't find a way to look for what you told me.

i took some lines out of that file, the DB went from 1.4mb to 265kb (strange?!?!), and the game crashes when i click equipment.
if those equipments were all added, can't they be removed? revert the process? |

i was told that the cutdown in size is normal. so the crash can only be from the lines i removed in that file. |

Oh well, my 'easy' solution didn't work then.
Of course, it's possible to remove equipment. But since equipment is assigned to teams, any removal will result in a crash.
