Crash after every race and before podium

I have been playing the game since its release and onlu since three days ago it began crashing at the end of every stage or race. The only thing different now is that I installed that latest version of direct X. Can this be the problem?
The crash occurs only after all cyclists have arrived and the results are already saved, so I don't need to race again. But it's annoying to restart the game after every race. And thus I cannot see my men celebrating by the podium Smile
Does anyone have a hint on this? Thanks a lot.

prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

Disable replays in the options menu.

Stijn, I know, and I read them all. What I didn't understand was why it only started to happen now, after I played almost two entire seasons. My question was about that. Thanks you for answering anyway.
