Early break of 9
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs1.jpg
Lasri, Herve, Aoyonagi, Broco, Rinner, Pacheco, Lejman, Mazzanti and Booth

IKEA Bianchi and 100% Me were controlling things behind though
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs2.jpg

With 60km to go, those 2 teams had split the pack, with Backstedt, Fenn, and Stybar leading the way
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs3.jpg

It lasted 15km, they caught the break, but were swamped on a hill with 45km to go
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs4.jpg

34km to go, Steurs attacks. Countered by Mertens, Sentjens and Vanspeybrouck
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs5.jpg

Sentjens cant keep up with the other 3 though
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs6.jpg

Steurs tries to attack away from the other 2 but Vanspeybrouck comes back to him as Mertens is dropped
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs7.jpg

Albert waits until 19km to go before launching a counter move - is it already too late?
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs8.jpg

Eisel, Portal and Bewley counter before we finally se Blythe follow, along with Sieberg
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs9.jpg

Steurs is leading solo up front, he has attacked away successfully from Vanspeybrouck
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs10.jpg

The IKEA rider is at 45 seconds, Mertens at 1 minute, with Blythe, Sieberg, Portal, Eisel, Albert and Sentjens at 1'25.
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs11.jpg

This group is then joined by the Nokia-Nike pair of Freire and Bakari
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs12.jpg

Albert launches himself away on the descent of that hill, and will quickly pass Mertens
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs13.jpg

Mertens is then caught by the chase group as Blythe and Eisel also try to go on the flat, the group briefly comes back before Blythe tries again on his own and makes it away with ease
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs14.jpg

Ahead of him, Albert is closing in on Vanspeybrouck
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs15.jpg

And as they begin to sprint for 2nd, Steurs is closing in on the line
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs16.jpg

Geert Steurs wins E3 Prijs!
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs17.jpg

Albert outsprints Vanspeybrouck for 2nd
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs18.jpg

4th for Blythe
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTHC/prijs19.jpg

And Freire wins the sprint for 5th
