Mountain stage apparantely. The climb at the end doesnt look particularly steep though

Plenty of attacks early on, Bagot crosses the first climb first
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo33.jpg

Suprisingly a 35 man group has been dropped very quickly including Tenorio, De Maar, Reus, Traksel, Hunter and Jacques-Maynes
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo34.jpg

It will take them 20km to catch up again, when the peleton finally relaxed their pace.

The break is formed and up front the defending champion Seledkov has a solo lead
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo35.jpg

Khalilikhosroshani, Visconti, Bagot and Jeannesson are in pursuit
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo36.jpg

As are another group, Briggs, Bazajev, Vandewalle, Camier, Moschella, Mardones, Zirbel and Donald
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo37.jpg

Seledkov takes the 2nd climb as Visconti looks to have attacked across to him
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo38.jpg

But Seledkov remains alone as Visconti sits up, dropping back to the chase group of 12
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo39.jpg

From 45km to go onwards, numerous attacks came from 2nd-4th overall Del Nero, Albert and Meersman. Each time they got caught, they attacked again soon after
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo40.jpg

Albert did eventually reach the chase group but they were caught soon after
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo41.jpg

Philippe Gilbert now attacks
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo42.jpg

11km to go, Gilbert has caught Seledkov and so now has Calzati
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo43.jpg

But Seledkov has somehow found more power and attacked away again
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo44.jpg

10km to go and attack by Astarloza. Trofimov, Lowe and Nicacio counter
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo45.jpg

Seledkov has gone now, passed by Gilbert and Calzati. The Frenchman would be on his own in the lead but is caught by the 4 new attackers
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo46.jpg

Nicacio presses on alone though
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo47.jpg

With Trofimov now looking to close him down
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo48.jpg

As Lloret at last goes with 2.5km to go with his team having been on the front for most of the stage
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo49.jpg

As up front we are into the final KM and the sprint for the line. Trofimov is still closing on Nicacio as the Brazilian leads
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/CTC1/capo50.jpg

But there is no clawing him back - Nicacio wins!
