Cannot get into main menu screen

After I got over over the numerous problems I had with the downlaoding of the game I finally got the game running. It worked fine and I had an hour or so playing it.

When I came to open the game later it wouldn't work. It goes through through introduction video but will not show me the main menu screen. All it shows is a black screen with the normal red cursor (but I cannot move the cursor). The sound is playing in the background so the game is running but it is not letting e see the menu screen so obviously I cannot do anything.

I have tried all sorts of resolutions etc etc.

Anyone had the same problem or no of what is causing this problem?

If you've a firewall installed, try disabling it.

I've just tried that and still the same problem.

The thing that has really got confused me is how it worked the first time I tried it yet an hour later it didn't.

It sounds weird. Try resetting the game:

Go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder.
Go to Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it.
