Hi, is there any way I can force the game to do a save of my game. It seems the game won't save changes on the date I exit the game. For example if I go to a date with a race I will do and do some changes, I have to to do the race as well for the gamle to save?? |

I believe that there are two times the game auto saves
1) at turn of day
2) after a race youve participated in
This fits your description. As for a solution: blank |

OK. will have to trust that Cyanide manages to program a save-button for next release, then! |

I'm pretty sure that I can safely say that the current way of saving will be kept in PCM09 too. It's been like that for as long as I remember. |

Oh, well.. A warning out there then. Do not make massive changes to your riders fitness schedule's or other things and expect the automatic-save feature in PCM to actually update after you make changes! |

I've found that if I make the changes (e.g. training schedule, sponsor application, hire/fire staff) and then quit to the main menu (not exit to windows), the changes are saved.
I can then make copies of the save game database files in C:\documents & settings\PCM08\database\solo (think that's right) and replace them if thinks don't turn out right (e.g. sponsors reject me).

OK. So go to main menu might be a different system. I'll try that. Thanks for the tips.
(Another annoyance is the bug where the game (at lest for me) crashes if I try to push the wrong button on the number pad, for instance the number 8 if I only have 7 riders in the team... That one is easy to do, as I regularly want to go back to view where my last placed rider in the pack is...) |

I agree with that. Or if you press 'down' too fast, it might also crash.
Could be a memory problem, though. |
