I've got a career with the team Xacobeo-galicia. I am may of the 09 season, and now some of my best riders, like Ignatiev, Boasson Hagen, Gusev and Lövkvist are asking to renew their contracts, but since I chose to renew the contracts of some minor riders on the team in January and February, i've no longer got enough money to renew their contracts
I am not sure what to do with this problem, and I think that it would really suck to loose all of my good riders now when I am doing so well.
Anybody who knows how to fix this problem or anyone got any tips to what i can do to raise the wage budget?
I also have got one more problem: I am riding in the pro tour, and most of my riders morale is very good. the riders contract ends after the season, but on the riders info screen it says that the rider is happy to stay with the team and that he wants to sign a new contract. BUT, when i offer him a new contract, he tells me he doesn't want to sign a new contract. Anyone know why? and is there anything I can do to solve this ? because I am doing well in the protour, and currently my team is number one in the PT rankings, so it really sucks to loose my best riders at this moment because firstly i cant change my wage budget, and secondly som riders wont sign a new contract even if they are happy to stay with the team
The salary cap can be annoying, and luckily, this is something that's been tweaked for PCM09. Until then, I'd recommend having a look at this post: https://pcmdaily.c...ost_183338
It explains how to change the budgets. If you don't want to cheat too much, you can simply enter your current 'balance' to the salary cap. This way, you can decide yourself how much you want to spend on salaries.
