Continental teams have sent in their wildcard requests, and within the next couple of days the wildcard teams for ProTour races will be decided.
Check back in this topic to see as they are announced, but before that you can speculate over which team you think will be/should be/deserves to be in a certain race. |

hello
Valverde speaking I would be disapointed to only get 1 of the Ardennes and in shock if I got none.

I'll be fairly pissed if some CT teams take away some precious points from my team... So fear me.

Since there aren't PT races in Portugal, Nespresso-Sportzone have to be present in Tour de Suisse. |

hello,
Valverde's owners speaking, i would prefer he didn't ride the ardennes or san sebastian. We wouldn't mind seeing him the Vuelta a Asturias. If he is to ride the ardennes classics or san sebastian, we will instruct him to disragard his new team, and support Luis Leon Sanchez to victory. But we wouldn't mind him taking second.

Except that not one team has even requested a wildcard for Asturias |

Its time to announce the first Wildcard selections - it was a pretty easy choice, with the following teams being the only ones interested in riding in the respective races.
Volta Ciclista a Catalunya - Team Energie-Diesel
Int. Osterreich Rundfahrt - Team LEGO - Capri-Sonne
Vuelta a Asturias - Santander
Seine-Marne-Seine - Team Energie-Diesel
GP de Fourmies - Wiggle |

Damn it... Valverde going to the Vuelta a Asturias? There go my chances of winning the race... Let's see if I can at least get the sponsors goal...

But as you should get the Giro, I demand all of the others - apart from Monte Pasche, because I can't spell it. |

If it's any help for you, the race is actually called Eroica - and nothing else.
