So, has everyone started work on their rider schedules now? And is everyone using Crommy's xls file for it?
Ive been working on mine since I chose Saunier Duval, and Ive found it really fun. Its been a bit of a challenge to replace 3 riders with ignatiev, Thomas and Hunter but as I said, fun nevertheless.
As things stand Ive got just 6 races left to complete and 12 riders have full schedules now. One things its helped me realise - is that Category A riders many not necessarily win the ProTour standings, as other than their Grand tour - there are just 29 race points available. (50 if you do no Grand Tour, but youd be mad not to give your Category A rider a grand tour).

My schedule is coming on fine. If it weren't I had such a crap team apart from my top 5, I could be quite strong. And yes, I am using my own planner, it has helped a lot

I'm working on mine.........done all races up to tour de france now, with 8 riders having full scheduele........I have also planned all the top riders races so far, I like what I'm seeing.......Napolitano and Bennati has a nice amount races togetherB)
Ill give everyone an example of my method. It shows the cobbled races as Ill happily reveal my team for them, plus a fake list for a couple of the Ardennes:
On another worksheet I have a screenshot with all the stats, and their race days lined up next to the screenshot. And on another worksheet I have my draft order.
My method is more manual as it invovles regularly checking the race day amounts, but I like Statisticsy stuff like that.
Only a couple to go, I have to decide whether to risk Raul Alarcon Garcia in any races other than the cobbles! Edited by SportingNonsense on 17-07-2007 21:34
