As stated earlier I really like your new jersey, especially the colour scheme! And you've clearly established yourself as a great jersey maker.
Regarding the actual team management it will be interesting how you build your squad around Rodriguez and maybe a declining Coquard as well. Both should give you a decent floor to start building a competitive squad for the next season.

Thanks guys! Just wanted to mention Hillis is our jersey designer again this year! He is fantastic and the jersey itself will be revealed shortly.
In terms on the team. I think the cuts we made were good and necessary and plenty of room to now build for Carlos!

Liquigas was a very eye-catching team (with a funny name, at least to me ) when I started watching cycling. Nice to see they're back in the MG! Looking forward to the actual jersey with that colour scheme and also to see how you're planning to (re)build around Carlos for the forseeable future.

The moment we have been waiting for! The release of our 2026 jersey. We are really excited to be switching things up a bit and welcoming an Italian giant back into the peloton. Obviously this means we will have some goals throughout transfers but we will get to that later.
We want to thank Hillis for designing another incredible jersey for us! We are so excited to see this in the peloton and see our man Carlos winning the big stage races in it

Being in the UK, I can't see your kit due to the imgur hosting. However, I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot of whatever it looks like when reading through the reports this year - it's nice to see a project like yours coming into its own with Rodriguez, Coquard and co. It's taken awhile, but it seems like you've sorted out the recipe for surviving and thriving in PCT...

This will be an easy jersey to spot in the peloton, good job by Hillis!
Congrats on staying up. I'd say you have plenty of flexibility on how to build the squad around Rodriguez.

That really is colorful
But I quite like it, as there seem to be some design thought going into that proces, which has rarely been the case when the Man-Game have had very bright colors. This seem very cool.

Survival And maybe your best jersey yet to celebrate. I am partial to some pink and lime and as others have said may we see a lot of it this year. Great to achieve survival and let Carlos grow another year, now for him to reward the faith and show off the colours!

@Nemo - Hillis is amazing and the jersey is incredible! Cannot wait to see it on display!
@Booker - Yeh it was a really encouraging season for the team after how long we have been working for this! Hopefully Carlos can continue this form now that he has MAXed and has the ability to compete with the best.
@Redordead - Yeh lots of options with Carlos now. Need to make sure he has the support in all aspects!
@SotD - Thanks! Really awesome jersey and definitely lots of thought. A look back on our argyle from earlier on in the teams history, as well as the purple from the last few seasons as well. Really happy with it!
@Knockout & BBL - Its all about the vision
@Jandal7 - Fingers crossed he can do well for us this season now he is at the top of his natural abilities (There has to be training done on him for sure!)

Quite an important renewals and transfer period for us this season. With our big shift in focus, we have had to make some big moves and cuts. A very successful season has us staying in the PCT for a 2nd year in a row so we can now consolidate ourselves in this division! With our star leader, C. Rodriguez, finally reaching his best, we have a chance to really compete this season in the stage races.
In terms of cuts, D. Howson, W. Kelderman, M. A. Ahmad Zamri, E. Afewerki, J. Edmondson, L. E. Lemus Davila, M. Vanthourenhout, and J. Skala have all been released from the squad. We wish all of these riders the best in the future but with all hitting a decline or asking for too much we just couldn't justify keeping them.
The big cuts are the PCT Individual Rankings winner of last season, Bryan Coquard and our Kiwi legend and 2nd place in the CT Individual Rankings of 2024, George Bennett. Coquard would have still been a fantastic rider for us, but he was asking for a LOT of money even after a large decline.
Bennett was asking for a high wage but much more reasonable then the French sprinter. We just looked at his abilities and how he went last season and decided that it was time to say goodbye to George Bennett. We hope he is able to get picked up for a final season in the MG. We wish him the very best and thank him for all he has done for the team and NZ cycling in the MGUCI! | Rider | Age | AVG | 2026 Wage | Change | Available | | C. ● strong intention to keep | ●●● open for offers | ●●●●● clear intention to sell Looking at the riders we did keep, there are a few riders available in the team. S. Welsford could be available for the right offer. We will be open to listen to offers, however we do think he would be a good rider to keep in the squad for leadouts/sprinting on his own. K. Duyvesteyn is probably the rider we will look to sell the most. He had a good start to the season in the Tour of Tasmania, leading out Kelderman to victory, however after that we did not see him achieve much for the team. We will listen to offers and most likely say goodbye to him this transfer season. R. Power is a rider we probably want to keep however will listen to offers. He was C2 eligible last season (I haven't checked if he is this season) which is where he got the bulk of his points and that could be the same in the coming season. J. Marryatt, L. Mudgway and A. Edmondson are all available this off season. Edmondson had an excellent season last year but with a decline we are unsure on how he will go this season. Still could be some strong support in the cobbles though. Marryatt and Mudgway could also leave the team. Riders that have come all the way through our development program but looking at the team and how these two riders went last season in the PCT, we think they might be better suited to the CT. They could be on the move this off season as well.
CT Loans are another thing we will be looking at. G. Yarrell, N. Narraway and R. Orins are the main 3 that we will be looking for a CT loan. This will ensure their development continues and they grow the most they can! | | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | | C.
