The situation is mostly the same with 2 km to go.
Cole launches a late attack with a kilometer left! The Zappes Kolsch train has disappeared with Walscheid going on his own.
Walscheid catches Cole on his own with 500 meters to go, as Jimenez Retana and Silva are next.
Cole's challenge is over and he drops back. Harrison and Hadi are closing in quickly! 300 meters remain.
The situation is the same with 100 meters remaining.
Walscheid is too strong for the rest and takes the win. He was really strong all day!
Harrison edges Jimenez Retana for 2nd.
Hadi also edges out Silva for 4th.
Russo is 6th, followed by Baterdene and Major.

Walscheid wins today taking him to the top of the Points classifcation. De Witte continues to lead the GC but Harrison moves up to 2nd following today's 2nd place on the stage. There are no major changes in the other classifications.
