As it stands a variety of our point scorers are up for grabs. Reis, Afewerki, and Quispe will have to go within this window. All three have had individuals poking around but no official bids have been made as of yet. Be fast if you want to add either to your roster before it is too late.
Quispe can score points anywhere from PT down to CT as he has shown the past years under our colors aswell as for Los Pollos.
Afewerki’s downgrade should most likely see him drop to CT, if you want a nifty African sprinter with a tendency to overperform for only 150.000 come on over!
Reis’ stellar season last year saw us propelling up the rankings and narrowly miss promotion by just 8 points. He has lost some of his feathers but could still score a good chunk of points in PCT. Less likely but still possible would see him make the drop to CT. His 350.000 wage and our desire to offload him could currently be afforded by any ambitious manager in our lowest ranks. Not unlike ourselves we also brought in a rider on a similar wage, who carried us single handedly to promotion in our maiden year. Alas, Lahcen Saber has vanished from the spotlight but very firmly remains in our hearts.
Besides these three several of my minimum wage riders have been enquired about and could see an exit. In particular Moses Moiruri where negotiations are taking place.
If you’re more in need of a sprint leadout who isn’t afraid of hilly terrain we have Federico Olei on offer, it would hurt my little heart somewhat to see him leave, but without a very strong sprinter or one along those lines coming into the team we don’t wish to see his skills wasted. Last year he was able to score a win in C2, so definitely capable of scraping some here and there in both PCT and CT.
I’m not the best at selling them in a post like these, but please do consider their services. Besides the aforementioned three who I will sell this year, should we be satisfied with the team and the wage structure, all remaining riders shall stay put. So don’t dilly dally and run to San Marino.
