Hi there,
Having issues. Suddenly my game has stopped working. No reason why! I haven't installed any new features, or uninstalled any. It just stopped. When i open it it starts to load, then cuts to "PCM has stopped responding... windows is checking for a solution..."
Never gets any further than this. I'm up to date with patches, etc. I do have the short races DB installed and PCM Daily 2009. The game was working fine with those.
I have just tried unistalling and re-installing... Same problem. I don't get it!
Anyone got any ideas?!?! |

Did you do a complete uninstall, including appdata? |

As Deadpool said, a full complete uninstall, including deleting every single PCM file off your computer should sort it out. I suspect there is a DB problem somewhere along the lines either in your "My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2008/Database" bit or the Program Files/PCM08 bit. Thats normally what I got when I did something wrong with DBs.

Do you have windows firewall running?
Are you running PCM as administrator?
Do you have any other firewall blocking PCM from accessing the internet?
Have you registered your installation?

Sounds like a strange one.
The problem might not even be PCM related - have you made any system changes, etc recently? |

Fenian... You just kicked my brain into gear. I havent made any system, changes lately, but unfortunately a virus may have. Will have to try a full wipe of the system, see if that kicks it.
RJC... No, i dont have a firewall on;

Not to my knowledge but avast anti virus may be stopping it???;
