Hello everyone. I am new to PCM and am loving the game so far. Is there any advice or beginners guides to help me. I have read the tactics posts and think i understand them.
One of my main questions is do you guys usually race in all the races it has your team scheduled for when you first load the career or do you take a lot of them out? I saw in the manual where it mentioned the A thru E races if your are a top tour. Is that the only ones I should race?
I have the PCM Daily v2.1 database as my database
Thanks for any advice or help you can offer a newb.

Read then.
A typo! BURN BURN BURN!
Anyway, I normally keep the races I have but maybe take some away for rider number purposes.

Same here. I usually remove a lot of races, purely because I like going smaller teams. When I do go a big team, or my team becomes big, then I decide to keep more races on my calendar. It's actually one of my major grinds with PCM - teams ride a lot of races, and riders can have a lot more race days without completely burning out compared with what's implemented in the game. Oh well, maybe they'll fix that one day (I can dream, right?)
If you want to do a lot of races, or need to for cash flow purposes, then it is possible to edit the riders race days/fatigue to combat it.

I just started a new career with Joker-Bianchi, and I had to delete a lot of early races. That was because the races whose are on the goal list started May and ended August-September. For a small team with the onl goal that you should stay as the team leader next year, don't do so many races, but if you are playing with a protour team, do the races whose are the goals, and prepare good for the PT-races.

if you are pro-tour you need to race more than just the pro-tour races so you have good fitness for the pro-tour races

What about times for hilly classics. They seems hard to find?

Hilly classics are quite similar to mountain tactics, I believe. At least they are to me!
