I was enjoying my game with Disco when the new patch came out. I was at the end of the Tour de France but I heard about the bugs in 2008 of a career so I scrapped that and installed the patch. Right after I installed the patch I clicked on to get into the game, and it crashes everytime. It says there is a signature error with the .exe file, and I never had this for the first 2 weeks that I had the game. I uninstalled, and re-installed, three times. Tried it again without loading the patch, same result. What happened to my exe file? Cyanide is ignoring me, so hopefully someone here can help me. BTW, this is the downloaded version, and I did install the correct patch. Thanks in advance.
Hmm.. Try to reinstall again. When reinstalled, go to Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Pro Cycling Manager 2007 and delete all the folders. Now try to install the game again and see what happens.

I've unfortunately already tried that. I am very stumped. I will try it again however. Thanks for the speedy response.

have you tried downloading the game again i know you'd be down to 2 downloads but you can always get more
No, but I just don't see how it can be fine until the patch is installed, and then just crash, no matter what I do. I will try doing that, hopefully Cyanide will get back to me soon.
This is the same exact problem I am having, so I'm going to see if the solution works that they put in the thread. Hope this will help people if they run into the same problem, but I must check to see if it works first.
Yup, deleted all of the saved games and it worked. I'm an idiot, I was used to last year's version where the saved games were in the regular Cyanide folder. Thanks for all of the help! I hope this helps someone in the future.
