Welcome to India for the TTT of this year’s Tour of America!
Glanbia are first on the road. They were the most active team in the breaks so far. They set a time of 20’30 as a first bar.
Next are Hilcona Racing Team. They are 14’’ faster than the Irish.
Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team are 12’’ slower than the Liechtensteiners.
Air New Zealand-Alfa Romeo are the new leaders with a time of 20’06.
Euskotren – Pays Basque are only 5’’ slower.
Newton Foundation p/b Zwift lose 12’’ for now.
Spark Team NZ didn’t look really organized most of the well, but they manage to only miss the best time by 3’’ nonetheless.
Babymetal are last for now with a gap of 29’’.
McCormick Pro Cycling have the GC and points leader in their squad – and that probably won’t change today as they crush the best time and finish as the first team below 20 minutes with a time of 19’50.
But the lead doesn’t hold for long! Cervelo Test Team beats them with a time of 19’45.
Lotto-Caloi use an interesting formation. But they manage the second best time for now, only 3’’ behind the leaders.
ELCO – ABEA finishes in 4th, they’re 9’’ down.
It’s copy and paste for Sauber Petronas Racing: they finish in 4th, 9’’ down.
Zain – Omantel are the last on the road – and the last in the stage. They lose 1’04 today.
Congratulations to Cervelo Test Team for winning the TTT! They also take the lead in the team classification.
