Van der Haar, Paulus and Kipruto are the day's breakaway riders.
Van der Haar wins the first KOM, ahead of Kipruto and Paulus.
Paulus wins the first intermediate sprint. He is followed through by Van der Haar and Kipruto. Their lead is 5'35".
Paulus also wins the second intermediate sprint. The order is reversed behind him.
With 50 km to go, it's SEE Turtles, Simba Cement and Glanbia doing the chasing. They trail by 2'38". It was up over six and a half minutes at it's maximum!
With 15 km to go, the break's lead is just 37 seconds.
They hold out till 8 km to go but are eventually caught. The peloton is still together.
Serrano is leading out Carsi on the left. They have Ringheim just behind. Scotson is leading out Kennett on the right. Smit has page Page lined up through the middle. 2.5 km left.
It's the Simba train that takes control a kilometer later. Carsi is on their tail, with Ringheim still hanging on.
Carsi and Page have a gap under the Red Kite. Kennett is leading the pack behind.
The situation is still the same with 400 meters to go.
200 meters. Still the same at the front but Saber and Stocker have moved up while Kennett is fading.
Carsi takes the win!
Saber makes up ground to claim 2nd ahead of Page. Stocker is 4th.
Norbert gets 5th with Grosser in 6th.
Zhao claims 7th with Morin in 8th and Vendrame 9th.
Guerreiro completes the Top 10.

Carsi moves to the top of the GC, with Zhao moving up to 2nd. Schomber drops to 3rd. Van der Haar leads the KOM now.
