The fifth stage will bring us in Oudenaarde, for another interesting finish. Cobbles and 60 mountain points are on the offer for a mini Ronde!

We come live as the riders will tackle the first categorized climb: we are back on the Kanarienberg (cat. 2, 1 km, 10%).

After a cobbled sector, the break is on the Hotond Berg (cat. 3, 3,1 km, 3,9%). It’s flatter, and Lecourt De Billot takes the 6 points. 110 km left, the gap is 5 minutes.

The Mont Saint-Laurent (cat. 2, 1,3 km, 7,1%) is also paved! That is not a problem for Mikutis, and he now is 3rd in the provisional classification.

Destribois finally manages to use his punch to win at the Plachettes (cat. 3, 1,1 km, 6,1%). He’s tied with Mikutis in the classification.

Then comes the paved Muur van Geraardsberger (cat. 2, 1,2 km, 7,5%). The cobblers do best here, with Richardson winning the big points. Talacka and Destribois can’t follow.
