2009 equipment DB

Hi I know their maybe another thread regarding this DB but I can not find it.
I started a carrer with the DB made by Bikefreak and when starting a 3D race in career the game crashed. Their is no problem running this in single player so I cant understand why it will not work in carrer mode. One thing i did do was change some of the stats in the DB editor but this should not matter.

Just wanted to know if i needed a patch or if it only works in single races?
