Hopefully, if this is successful, we will see all new continental teams and a continental division with an invitation system to ProTour races.

Yes, a new continental league run by SN is coming, as well as spare places in the PT league if managers decide to drop out

I wouldnt mind riders being fired for doping. It feels little tainted winning the Pro Tour wtih heavy use of a rider that proven guilty and currently suspended.
Kachekin doing well in the vuelta feels wrong as well.
Perhaps repay the years salary to the team, as a compensation of sorts, and just let the team sort itself out.
Also, I liked the draft a lot. Perhaps force every team to give up a couple of riders to a draft. and do it american style with the poorest team picking first...

And, yes, I know there are problems with the fact doped riders are winning, I'm trying to figure out a fair way to overcome that

If I may put in a suggestion? all in good nature, of course. I'm not even any more than a spectator to the game
the NHL used to have a "waiver draft". made things exciting. the principle was that each team could choose the players that they wanted to keep.
all others from the team were entered into the draft. there was a limit to the number of players the team could choose (or "protect from the draft", if you will).
maybe something like that? |

no, the idea that I was pitching is: for example, let's say it's 18. you choose 18 riders from your team that you want to keep. every other rider from your team goes into the draft. same for every other team. 18 is just an example, can be any other number.
but this is just an idea that I thought might be fun. |
