effects of riders favorite races?

Hi, can anybody tell me if riders have a slight bonus when performing in their favorite races? or is it just cosmetics?

I think it's just that if he rides there then there will be a raise of moral. If he doesn't, no morale.

if you are riding with that rider i think the user gets a Psychological boost from it Wink Thats how i feel anyway. I always find it easier to win LBL with Valverde because he has won it in the past and its one of his favourite races.
