Whenever I start, it crashes

My specs are fine, so why does it do it?

When does it crash? When you start the game? When you click "Career"? When?

I double click the icon, the menu comes up, I click play, the game tries to start but goes black and crashes.

Sounds like a corrupted save game. Did you try deleting / moving your save games from My Documents / Pro Cycling Manager / Database? Simply delete or move the "Solo"-folder and try again.

I remember that you had a similar thread previously. Is it the same problem?

Q. How do I uninstall the game completely?
A. First, go to Start -> Programs -> Cyanide -> Pro Cycling Manager 2008 and find the uninstall-link. Next, go to "My Computer", your hard drive, "Program Files" -> Cyanide and delete the Pro Cycling Manager-folder. Then go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder. Last thing is Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . A folder will open. Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it. The game is now completely uninstalled.
