Hi.

I played 2015 last time I played.

What is new from then? Is it worth spending 45$ on 2023 considering I want the experience to be «revelutionary» from 2015?

Hard to tell since I dont exactly remember the 2015 version.

But there were a few nice additions since then like season planner is much better now. Also the indroduces scouting system for young riders is really nice.
Gameplay has also changed and made the game a little harder; breakaways win way less stages and mountain stages became significantly harder.
I also have to see how the new MM stat is impacting the races.

The game is also much quicker and more stable now.

But in the end it depends on what you are looking for: I imagine its worth it if you plan to play a longer career. For shorter ones I simply dont know yet.

When I played it was pretty much the same as it was in 2010-2012 i figure. How is rider progression? How many season does it take for a newgen to be elite?

Rider progression was bit of a problem still: most riders were maxed after 3-4 seasons. resulting in a complete stat inflation... After 11 seasons Conti teams were all rated at 4+ stars rating.
But apparently this has been adressed and the devs changed something. Cannot confirm if its fixed though.

I hope to get around that issue by lowering the values for training infrastructure and popularity in each country
