Young talent disappears after the end of the season

Can someone explain why all scouting reports are deleted after the end of the season?

This is not understandable or is it possibly because I fired my scouts and hired new ones afterwards?

That's sadly a feature, not a bug. It happens when retaining the same scout as well.

All you can do is write down the main first-year talents you found, since shortlisted juniors don't show up in the shortlist tab either.
Wrting down potentials and stats as detailed as possible at least saves me having to scout them again so I can sign them "blind".
